The video says the neighbors haven’t seen her since last Thursday, but she’s been gone longer than that, IIRC…

has anyone gotten a hold of her? can you imagine if it were you that had gone on the trip of a lifetime only to find this happening while you were gone? you trust someone to feed/water your animals only to find out they didnt?

As a point of clarification it seems they were locked in round pens with no access to the ample and overgrown grass on the property.
This neighbor chick seems way to smug and happy to be in front of the camera tattling on PP. Which to me is blaringly obvious the chick is lying out her rear end and just wants to see the horses gone. Maybe they are getting out of the fencing now and then, heck, mine do that and i have WAY better fencing!
These horses do not look very thin to me honestly, most look fine, the ones i know are young look like they are in a gawky growth spurt and gangly/thin, not ribs poking out, hips sticking out, etc…
Some states have retarded, close minded restrictions on shelters for animals, i really dont hold that fine over PP’s head, the ruling could have changed and she didnt know about it, or didnt know about it in the first place.
And i can tell you that animal control can be downright RETARDED about who it picks on and why. I was once turned in when my horses charged a gate (smashed it to pieces, looked worse than PPs gate in the pics) due to a herd of deer running through the pasture. Horses took off down the road, me following close behind, but a driver called animal control because my horses had “blinders” on and couldnt see, they were “crazy running all over the place…” They were wearing fly masks. I had to go to court and show the judge a fly mask to drop the fine. Seriously. Some animal control guys dont know horses period and we all know neighbors can be stupid idiots as this chick appears to be!
I sure hope we hear from PP soon. I bet she’s freaking out.

for all we know they were in the round pen so they could load them in the horse trailers.
dont believe everything you read and see on the news or in news papers!
Since we don’t really know what happened, I base my opinion on the only facts that are apparent. The horses didn’t look bad in the video. The property does. My guess is that the neighbors were sick of the way the place looked and assumed that if someone neglects their grass they also neglect the animals. The prior citation could also have been the result of the same folks complaining and animal control people who really don’t know about horses.
Here in Kentucky the mega horse farm next door leaves their mares out in every kind of weather, no run in and NEVER brought in for anything. Lots of farm dogs here that run loose as well. I’m 9 miles from the Horse Park in a very civilized area of horse country. Many vets here complain that horses should never be stalled.
I’m for waiting to see what really happened before jumping to conclusions. Young horses almost always look thin to non horse folks.

Unless one of those pictures in the first 2 posts have been flipped, they are NOT of the same horse.
And certainly they didn’t look starved. What is the REAL story?
People were so quick to jump on the individual in question whose animals were seized - even going so far as to label her ‘cruel’, ‘disgusting’, ‘low life scum’…then the minute we put together that it is PintoPiaffe, we back off and consider there could be other factors we never considered or that we don’t know about, that are not reported, that we are not getting the full story? Just because she is someone who posts here regularly? C’mon. Why wasn’t that done from the very beginning?? It’s a media article. Since when are they considered the way, the truth, and the light?
