Say it isn't so....Inclusive on USEF Drug List
page 91 in the dover catalog with the jumper on the cover has a picture of Inclusive on page 91.
Interesting. There must be different catalogs. Mine came 4 days ago, says “2015-2016 Catalog”. Photo of “Dalliance” (jumping with K. Farmer up) on the cover.
Nothing but boots on pg.91.

Small photo of T.Colvin and Inclusive on upper right corner of pg. 63 (GPA helmets).

Horses may not blink but I got a boatload of photos of my mare with her eyes closed over fences…and paint from rails on her hoof, split front end and all manner of classically ugly examples of “meh”, “Do we have to jump around this course AGAIN” and…um…lack of riding technique.

If you looked at those or even a few of our videos, I guess it’s obvious she’s a stoner. Me? Especially early on, I look like a meth head.

I have seen Inclusive and his barn mates around the barns at all hours and in classes enough to just think they were well schooled, very acclimated to show situations, maybe bored but they never looked drugged. And God knows I’ve seen enough of those over the past 40 years.

They probably don’t even need it, especially considering the calibre of rider. That’s the really sad part. Maybe we are asking them to be too much like machines in the way we are scoring these elite level rounds that their humans are afraid for them to go without? I dunno what the motivation is here if they feel they have to drug exceptionally well behaved and impeccably trained horses under fabulous riders?

Did you see him in the Devon derby this year? He wasn’t his usual Kicking quiet self, far from it. Perhaps he was sober at Devon (a safe assumption given they had been to the hearing), which tells me he isn’t just well-schooled.

The quietest horse in the world can have its eyes pop out of its head at Devon. I can tell you that first hand having taken some very quiet horses there.

Though it’s not like this year (2015) was THAT horse’s first year at Devon. Or even first year in the Devon derby. That horse has been around, including at Devon, PLENTY before this year. And I don’t recall the conditions in the derby in 2015 being particularly weird/off putting.

My point was you cannot tell from a picture, not that they were not doing it at least some of the time with some of the horses. That was the touted advantage of GABA/Carolina Gold, you can’t tell. Just like with Reserpine a few years back.

I doubt any of this crap is going to turn an untalented pos into a great horse, you have to start with a winner under a top rider, I don’t think they need it but maybe seeking the robot look judges reward is driving some if it.

Think it’s unfortunate we assume a bit of bad behavior means it’s sober and if it’s quiet it’s drugged although with this one at Devon, it may well be the case.

I wish my horse closed his eyes more. He even sleeps with them wide open and it creeps me out.

Wait, they really don’t blink? I thought I was being facetious.

I was following your sarcasm there. Not being literal citing so much photographic evidence to the contrary.

Oh okay. You seemed serious.

Doesn’t Brigid’s suspension start Sep. 1? Why would she be looking forward to saugerties, as she posted on Facebook?? Coth, I hope you’ll follow up on this.

Like Tolkien elves! They sleep with their eyes open. My rabbit does the same thing and its kinda weird

The next trend will be painting eyes on horse eyelids so they look awake when the photo catches them mid-blink

I think it’s just that she wont be listed as trainer for any horses. I will be curious to see who actually takes that signature on though!!

If you are USEF suspended you are not even supposed to BE at a USEF event.

Yeah the bad thing…just got my New Dover Catalog…guess what picture of Victoria Colvin…the horse looks DRUGGED!!! Hello…sorry it is what it is …people suck…
I just got the catalog and he doesn’t look drugged to me. Not that I can tell from one picture in time.

The picture in the Catalog I received was taken in 2014 at International Derby Finals. Since the trainer of record got set down and fined from this competition…well…hello
