Say it isn't so....Inclusive on USEF Drug List

Gotta love FB sometimes. Somebody at work just showed me a FB post of a co worker ( that I don’t know, big company) off work on disability for a back injury over 3 months. On a jet ski off Key West.

Whats the matter with people? Are they really that stupid?

Yes, yes they are. And that is precisely why people who know for certain they will be tested still use banned substances and try to get away with it. Stupidity. And faith in luck.

Yeah the bad thing…just got my New Dover Catalog…guess what picture of Victoria Colvin…the horse looks DRUGGED!!! Hello…sorry it is what it is …people suck…

Well, he’s not on the cover…is he?

You must have some eyes to be able to tell a horse is drugged from a picture.

87 and 91 in the winter catalog

Guess you only get a cover for getting caught (at least) twice…

This gave me an idea. Why doesn’t USEF hire all the people here on the forums who can tell by looking at a horse whether it’s drugged or not? That way they could “test” every horse at every show without the extra cost of those pesky lab tests.

My horse would then “test” positive for meth, I’ve had one of those months with her.

:lol::lol::lol:

I want a refund from my clinical pharmacology professor, because he never taught me how to ID sedated horses from show photos.

Hmm…91 in mine is all wellies and clogs. 87 is Ariat paddocks.

I’m astonished by the ability of anyone that can recognize a drugged horse by looking at a photo. “Supernatural” indeed.

I have a boatload of pictures of my horse with his eyes closed over the top of the fence. Clearly drugged. Can’t possibly be he didn’t really want to see the distance I showed him!

page 91 in the dover catalog with the jumper on the cover has a picture of Inclusive on page 91.

Me, too. I made a collage from her last show. I think 20% of the pictures, her eyes are closed. The collage was just a sampling.

I think you may see some signs of drugging when watching a class (although it’s still a huge assumption), but from a photo? Not at all.

Horse IS drugged here (after dentist visit) and that drooping lip, low head and half closed eye are giveaways…but she wouldn’t be looking like that on drugs that she could still WALK while under the influence of, let alone canter a course.

Oh, come on.

Isn’t someone going to post a link to the Dover picture so the rest of us can test our drug-detecting skills??

99.9% of the hunters I see test positive for “meh”.

I wouldn’t be interested in riding any of them

Please. Everyone KNOWS horses don’t blink, and even if they did, there is absolutely NO way anyone could capture that on film.

I think I mentioned this in this very thread, but seriously, go to youtube and watch Inclusive’s round online from the exact class from which the suspension originated and see if he looked drugged. You probably don’t even need to go through the hassle of doing that, because out of everyone who watched that class either in person or on the livestream, if the horse looked even the least bit drugged, at least ONE person would have mentioned at the time here on the forums that he looked drugged. And then a million other people would have jumped on that comment and there would have been an 80 page thread on how drugged the horse looked. That didn’t happen. Based on the latest suspensions, I don’t understand how anyone can think it’s possible to tell that a horse has been given a banned substance by how it looks going around in the show ring.

I’m more referring to Bases Loaded. Even before he tripped, something looked seriously off with him. Sure, I acknowledge it is a HUGE assumption (as I stated  ) but that’s a round I might be willing to bet would’ve resulted in a positive test. Now, I could very easily lose and maybe the horse was ill or LTD’d or what-have-you, but he gave the appearance of being drugged.
