I got a box a day or two ago from someone I don’t know so I think it’s my SS box! I chucked the whole thing in a closet - I am waiting until Christmas night, when it’s just me and the kitties. If I can’t see it, I’ll be able to resist opening anything

Okay, I am not able to get my elfy alter working, so I need to just give a shout out to dressagetraks.
'Twas the week before Christmas, when all through the farm
No Amazon deliveries, I worried the harm;
The box was on standby, ready to go,
But checking the mailbox had nothing to show.
Your Santa has thought about changing her gift,
Her tardiness hopes this causes no rift!
She’s sorry her package will arrive a bit late,
And sorrier still to ask you to wait.
I hope you don’t think that I am a Grinch,
I thought that all this would be such a cinch.
Okay, that’s about the extent of my poetic abilities. Dressagetraks, your gift will be a bit late, but it’ll get there!!

Well, I don’t go to my mailbox every day. I I just went and I have a package!!! From somebody’s husband! 
OMG, I will not open it until Christmas Eve or Day! I will look longingly at it daily and resist the urge to open it.

But @J-Lu, maybe the individual gifts inside are wrapped. Then you can gaze longingly at the pretty paper and ribbons!

@HereComesZach THANK YOU ELF!! My box came yesterday and it was great timing as it was the last day of the longest semester ever (I am a teacher…) and I had no heat in my classroom all day and I was having side effects from my Covid booster…so it was such a treat to come home and find my box waiting! I have no willpower and will be away for Christmas day, so I opened it and just started laughing with delight instantly…I can’t describe how perfect this is, so here are some pony spam pictures instead:
The cookies were a huge hit too…I didn’t take pictures, but they got a very enthusiastic head-shake from my pony

I’m chuckling thinking about my reaction to receiving your package. I was so excited when I received it that I immediately tore into it. Only after I’d already dug through the contents of the box did I pause and think, “Oh, gosh…maybe I should’ve saved that to have something to open on Christmas Day…” Lol…oops!!!
