SECRET SANTA!!! - Let the thanks begin!!!

Zevida! I decided I couldn’t wait any longer and so I unwrapped my gifts last night. Wow, what fun was in that box!

The polos and boots are going to be awesome on my bay gelding - in fact maybe we’ll use them tonight just to celebrate a bit. I’m super excited about the salts and the herbs - I’m going to make use of them for my holiday cooking this week. I hid the cookies from M, they’re mine all mine! Of course he wanted to know if the horse muffins were for us or for JD - I assured him that they were in fact for the pony, not him.

Thank you for making my Christmas so bright! What a thrill to open each carefully wrapped, thoughtful gift.

The mail carrier left a “pink slip” in my mailbox yesterday and I just popped down to the post office at lunch and picked it up! Going to wait until morning to open it up. Thank you!

I am speechless… at your amount of time, effort & thoughtfulness.
Much, much, more than I ever expected. You went way overboard. I’m so happy with my brand new complete set, of fabulous grooming supplies. I can now retire my old box of brushes. Finally, a new halter we can grow up with.
My Puppy has been squeaking away & the tree now has a shiney new edition. Have a Very Merry Christmas.

I sit here, 9:35pm on Christmas Eve, with still no box delivered to my house. While I know things happen, and I’m trying to be patient, it’s still disappointing. If something has been sent, I didn’t get it.

To my elf, who I never heard from (except through Chocomare in early November), I hope you and things in your life are okay. I guess I should have told you that I am not at my home in the days following Christmas. I will have my house sitter check but it won’t be until well after the new year before I am able to open and express my thanks.

My elf is excellent! I got a new camera bag - a fancy “sling” one. I do not have one of those and it is going to come in handy. I’m always grabbing gear from my big gear bag and shoving it into a knapsack or dog show bag wrapped in a t-shirt hoping I don’t damage anything. The sling bag is the perfect size! It will be getting a lot of use in the future!

And my elf wasn’t done there. The bag was stuffed full of goodies for me, the horses, and the dogs (good call on that one!). Thank you my unknown elf!

YAY. I’m so glad you liked it all. I’m going to continue working with Blaine’s after Christmas. I was back and forth on what to get, but the camera bag really stood out. I figured it could be a easy grab and go for geocaching (I stalked your COTH posts), dog shows, mini play, and more! I hope you like peppermint! Haha. I’m so glad you like it, and the $25 Blaine’s card will come to you come hell or high water!

Holy crap! CW was just tender from his trim, so I got to break in the saddle pad. Of course, the awesome cookie trey and margaritas have been broken into. The Texans won while Hope was wearing her bandana, so it will get worn every game now for good luck. She also loves it. G loves the soap and ate the yummies. The necklace is too freaking cute! Everything was so wonderful! You are an amazing elf! I’m so excited that I’m probably forgetting to thank you for something!

I got my gift a few weeks ago, but today is the first day I have had to even think about sitting down and writing anything! I absolutely love my gift.

I got a lime green all purpose saddle pad, two pairs of adorable polka dot boot socks, some gingerbread treats for the ponies, a pink and green lead rope, some dunkin donuts coffee, and an OTTB mug. So awesome! I love the coffee. Please forgive me, someone threw away my card without me knowing so I can’t properly thank my secret santa (my mind ran away screaming after the period leading up to the holiday season), but they were perfect and I have found a new favorite coffee for my keurig!!

What a wonderful, wonderful time I had opening all these boxes!
And one huge cloth gift bag - I’ve never seen gift wrapping from Amazon but they do a wonderful job!

I had so much to open! The kitties LOVE the catnip - that must be some really good stuff because they both went nuts for it. I’m tiring them out with the awesome wand toy now, while I unwind from the day. Rory (the fatty) is jumping all around having a good time - that is so good for him!!

I also got a beautiful horse head sculpture. It’s very baroque :yes:. 2, yes 2 pairs of Zocks - love them!! A beautiful horse head ornament for my tree :). And the gift in the large cloth bag? A beautiful hunter green saddle pad! It is gorgeous and a color I actually don’t have - it’ll look lovely on Leo

The best part? Ms. Halt Square was my giftee last year so as soon as I saw her name I squealed “It’s Halt Square!!!”.

I had a terrific time looking at all those boxes and wondering what was in them. THANK YOU!!! For making it a really fun Christmas for me - for your generosity. If I could hug you I would :applause:

OH YAY!! That was me! I was hoping that you were just waiting to open it and that USPS didn’t lose it I’m glad you like everything! I am still waiting too, spotted. I sent my gift out the 1st week of December, so it is disappointing. I have also never heard anything from my elf.

I was hoping you would like all the Call the Midwife. They are my favorite things to watch. The puppy crack is made right here in Charleston any my own dog goes insane for it. The tea is from the Tea Plantation right here in Charleston.

To my Elf:

I resisted opening those two packages until Christmas day. It was SUCH a huge effort. Granted the peppermints, chocolate and dog cookies didn’t wait to get opened! Kane LOVED the peppermints and shared with all his horsey friends in the barn. We have many horses in the barn so he was one of the popular kids. Tug - he loved the cookies in fact so much that they are gone. I loved the chocolate - I shared also.

The new horse for my collection is so pretty. That has motivated me to get a new shelf to display my collection. There is one at World Market that I have been eyeing and it has gone on-sale SO I might be placing an order having it delivered (free shipping and I don’t have to beg people to help me). The measuring spoons are going to go on the shelf also they are entirely to pretty to be used!

Thanks so much AQHL! I love locally produced items! I feel like they are more special. The best thing about the puppy crack is that it doesn’t smell bad! So many fancy dog treats are stinky, but those are great. And I’m already halfway through season two. I love the characters, and that it’s based on a true story. I already finished the book, and soon I’ll be starting on Divergent

WEEEEEE Extended Christmas Yay!

Got my box today and it was filled with wonderful wonderful stuff!!

Silk glove liners and riding gloves!!! They will come in totally handy since it snowed last night and I am going riding tomorrow!

A totally awesome and amazing Cactus cloth… in the most amazing blue color! (My Favorite favorite color how did you find one!)

A smaller Jolly ball on a rope!

Some FABULOUS fudge for the people and some awesome dog treats!
