Setting the record straight

Don’t know anything about the situation except what I’ve seen on these boards, but I do remember immediately recognizing Lotus T as being the stallion referenced in the OP. Andras is certainly not the first stallion owner who’s objected to posts re: his business as such, and I doubt he’ll be the last.

Word of mouth/internet can be a great tool but, like most such tools, it’s a double edged sword and must be handled with care.

I much prefer hearing all sides over being left in discrete silence as I try to gather facts prior to finalizing my decisions and acting. Thanks to everyone for posting.

I have no dog in this fight, but I can say that a former girlfriend of Andras’s did recently die. Car accident, and I went to her funeral.

However, there is a certain accupuncture person who was trying to pretend he was dead to avoid paying UF vet bills, so maybe Andras believed the rumor (started by the accupuncturist). Who is in fact not dead. Popcorn anyone?

…ever seen him school someone or give a lesson that did not contain swearing and yelling???
um, I’ve taken several lessons from him and do not recall one swear word, or even him raising his voice. and given that I tend to be sensitive to being yelled at, I would very well remember if it had happened.

First of all - BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. Regardless of whether people are PAYING for goods or services or bartering - the transaction and terms SHOULD BE IN WRITING.

He said, she said, who said - what was said is a waste of time and totally unprofessional.

Here, here. Publicly airing dirty laundry, legitimate or not, only detracts from yourself.

I couldn’t agree more. Refusing to put someone’s foals on your stallion report for personal reasons is also very unprofessional. There are court records that prove the motivation was personal.
Let this be a lesson to everyone, always, always have your transactions on paper!

I’m confused. If you agree, why do you continue to post personal info that may or may not be true?

I rest my case…

Mods…yoohoo?

By the way, there is a ground-breaking editorial on page 4 of Florida Sporthorse Magazine. It is crucial that the message conveyed in that article filters throughout the industry. Some people may recognize the trainer who is profiled in that article.
Yep. It was about GM.

The SO was profiled on the cover story of the PREVIOUS issue in a very upbeat and complimentary article.

I disagree.
Sharing information is important.
It’s not always going to be positive but that’s life.
Only posting positive info is really counterproductive. Sort of like putting your fingers in your ears if you don’t like something.

And someties the poster is new to breeding and needs to get some answers. Registries aren’t always prompt or accurate in answering questions as some threads on this forum have shown.

As far as the Mods shutting down this type of thread I think they should leave them up unless name calling starts. You know like your post saying 'almost too stupid to live". Now that’s class A name calling.LOL

What information did you get out of this?
Besides there is a very pissed off lady out there, who may have several houseguests over at the moment.

Nope, though I personally applaud her new found “insight”. I can promise you…that’s very personal.

There were no names mentioned, until Andras outed himself, and contradicted himself several times on his post. Had he not said anything, nothing more would have been said, given the date of the original post, and few people would have had a clue who it was about. Typical. He’s always a victim. So if anyone aired their dirty laundry and named names…if the shoe fits…

Where exactly did he contradict himself? I’m not seeing anything contradictory.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Good one, SF!

I just noticed that PTPG is a very new poster with some powerful opinions. You’re onto something there, stoicfish.

PonyGirl, I’m sure not sure Christie would appreciate having her words twisted. I checked in with her YESTERDAY on the article where she told me the original intent and also said (and I quote)

I am not sure what is being written about the story, but I have a good
idea who is responsible for it. Nevertheless, I cannot concern myself
with the ramblings of a few disgruntled women.

I suggest we all take her advice and not concern ourselves with the ramblings of these disgruntled women any further. PonyTailPonyGirl is a profile that apparently exists solely to bash Andras, and I have no knowledge of her having any useful information about anything. DCF should have a ton of useful information to offer on these boards with her numerous connections to the horse industry but again she chooses only to use the forum to either praise the trainer/stallion du jour, or bash the one who has gone out of style with her.

We do welcome posters to share both their negative and positive experiences with/opinions of trainers, companies, products, registries, etc. to help others in the industry. However, when the forum starts to become ground zero for hashing out the specifics of a business dispute ad naseum we may intervene…as we are going to here.

For what it’s worth, ponytailponygirl and dcf13050 do not have any apparent IP address overlap.

Best wishes to the parties involved in coming to a resolution.
