I apologize. I didn’t go back far enough to see your post. Sorry.

No worries!
Glad the gift thing works. :+1:

That does not look comfortable.

But obviously the horse isn’t offended by the costume! What a lovely jumper.

Hey mods, someone posted a photo of a nekkid horse in this thread, post #45. That horse is not wearing anything but a halter.

This is ok on this online publication ??? Do we have no standards when it comes to horses parading around not wearing a speck of tack (almost) ???

[jk of course! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: ]

Also … I’ve never been to Australia. Is everyone in Australia this nekkid and this fit? Asking for a friend.

According to me ol mum the important thing isn’t your clothes, it’s your shoes. And as you can see everyone is wearing appropriate footwear.

Some people really make poor choices. This is one of those times.

He’s in New Zealand this week for the 4* eventing at Horse of the Year. I hope he’s packed his mankini for casual Friday and/or the trot up

Good on him for having a huge sense of humour.
And good on Kubota for supporting him so clearly.

As others have already said, horses are being beaten, and someone gets their knickers in a twist over some good humoured fun?
I wish that old prune who complained could be outed.

He just won the 4* in New Zealand. Even though I’m a kiwi, I really want to see him go to Paris :crossed_fingers: :tokyo_tower:

Oh shoot, how unfortunate! Sending lots of jingles for a thorough and quick recovery! :chains::chains:

Whoever does his social media is quite talented, I’ve never heard of the peacock/feather duster and it made me giggle!:

If you are on Instagram, shane.rose.eventing posted this image … the irreverent humor is undimmed in the face of this huge misfortune. I hope he will be ok and will have recovered fully, once healed. I guess it is wait & see re Paris.

Shane is currently in ICU with a badly broken femur and a fractured pelvis and ribs. He also suffered a heavy concussion. Shane had surgery this morning to stabilize the femur and pelvis.

Shane is in good hands with a great medical team and support network. While the timing is unfortunate we are hopeful there is adequate time for him to recover and still be able to continue his preparation schedule for the Paris Olympics Games.

We are so thankful to the fantastic team at Bimbadeen Park who have stepped up in Shane’s absence to ensure it was business as usual at Bimbadeen Park. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This is sad news, but it was touching to see the assurance that his horse was unhurt.
It sounds like a very bad accident, and I hope his strength and youth as well as his strong support team and humour will be on his side in his recovery.
Jingles and fingers crossed for him for sure!
