Shiraz the wonder horse update thread (prior: Horse shopping!)

I am HORSE SHOPPING!!! COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED!
Going to see one tomorrow after work.
I’m looking for an all-rounder (little low level hunters, hack classes, up to training level dressage tests, bumming around on the trails/hunter paces)
This sweet mare is so adorable! Plain bay with white socks on hind, years of dressage and one year of jumping. Cutest little frame you’ve ever seen. She’s 15.2 (I’m 5’6 so I won’t dwarf her) and 11 years old. I am so stinking excited!
Funds are in my hand, vet has been emailed to do a PPE if this goes well.

Don’t worry my 22 year old angel is still hanging out too.

Okay guys so I haven’t ridden since was lease ended like 6 months ago aside from some walking on my old girl. So I look rough in these videos and we’d need to get used to each other but she is friendly, sweet, careful, gentle, safe, and tolerates my B’s riding. I have a few more videos but they won’t upload for some reason so enjoy these three shorties.

I love her! The more secure your seat gets the less she’ll lift her head like that. I am still on the lunge line in lessons because my horse tells on my grabby hands every single time.

I have my fingers crossed that she vets well! How exciting. You can’t go wrong with a bay!

Isn’t she the greatest? Put up with so much. Imagine what these videos will look like in a year when we’re used to one another and I’m in shape and not a floppy potato!

Vet check is happening Wednesday afternoon . I doubt we will find anything weird they disclosed everything they knew about and it’s all manageable stuff but you never know!

So she passed the vetting with flying colours. My coach came to ride her the day after and she was naughty for my coach lol but I got on and she was fine. So she seems to have chosen me
She comes home on the 31st.
