Should this colt be gelded?

You come across as a smart, level-headed person  Your guy is lovely, best of luck with him!
I agree with Twisted River. You seem very thoughtful and intelligent.
Good luck with your lovely horse, whatever you decide to do.

Once upon a time I was riding my mare at Foxcroft and we got mounted by a stallion.
oh NO!

This stallion’s name didn’t happen to start with and R and be gray by chance?

Thanks for all the input and kind words. :). Willie was castrated this morning (talk about your bad Monday!). He was a champ about it all and I’m looking forward to starting him next spring.

Just as a note, with regards to his quality/stallion potential, for Willie Arts to take a colt on as a stallion prospect the colt had better be phenomenal. That said, there are still plenty of nice stallions that people campaign that do quite well, even if they’re not nice enough to be a DG Bar stallion. I was never implying that my colt was the caliber that Willy would want (as was noted, I own him now so probably not. Lol) but that he might be nice enough, maybe even nicer than some current stallions in the area. Hence what prompted my thread.

Thanks again!
