lauriep,

I don’t disagree with anyone on your list, but you left off one person who GM once declared one of the three best hunter riders in the country. Can you remember who that is?

Tallyho!!!
How Right You Are!!!
Tommy was a Sweet Horse in the barn
You could do Anything w/Him
But When He Said No,It Was No!!! And It Was NOT Pretty!!!
I saw Tim Grubb Beat His A-- around Harrisburg one year!!!
Talk about Cowboying!!!
It was The Only thing that Tommy Understood at times!!!
I Wonder Where He Ended Up???
Sad Thought!!!
Because,When He Wanted to,He was BEAUTIFUL!!!
Problem was,He Could Think!!! The Most Dangerous of Breeds!!!

Madison Avenue - open horse in CA, late 60’s
Best Bet - Susie Hutchinson’s junior hunter

Amen to that! Somebody posted a wonderful, ancient pic of Terry in balloon britches and long pigtails last year. I would love to see it again if you’re out there! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

That was me. My sister and I rode with Junie from 1965 to 1968 and my father liked to take pictures. Unfortunately I don’t have a premium membership anymore. If you want to email me, I can send it to you and you can post it.

Thank you, Harry. That was very nice. I’m afraid its been a long time since I’ve been in the show ring.

The only Maggie Moss horse I truly remember seeing was Roman Lyre.

ROFL!!!

I also felt he was not in the right business for his scam, he did not have the look of a man who rode, ah well, time to break out the cabernet. And eat the last of the chocolate from Schakalad. I deserve it after attempting to ride this afternoon.

The breeding divisions were really big, then

Lord Helpus -

Somebody mentioned Savoy and Incentive a few pages ago. Am I remembering correctly: Incentive was a plain bay that Scott Hofstetter showed and Savoy was a grey that Peter Foley showed?

I wonder if anyone mentioned Supernatural. Wasn’t he really mean? I don’t know what made me think of him

Oh Cindeye, you are such a novice. I could’ve told you that. Now
can you remember the OTHER one he also won with in the amateurs?

Advance Ticket was one of the horses that showed in three divisions, Equitation, Hunters, and Jumpers. In his later years he became an equitation specialist. I hope that he had a happy retirement, he was a very impressive horse.

nope

I almost forgot
Yes,Becky was a Great Rider
But Most Importantly a Wonderful Human Being!!! So Kindand Generous!!!
She LOVED her Horses!!!
