What about Night Murmur, ridden by Robin Berol? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Big chesnut mare? I remember some giant “Murmur” mare that jumped really well!
Laurie B- Melvin has a nice place near me. Still coaching and going to horse shows. Nice guy, everyone loves him. He still looks the same. The guy never ages.

If memory serves me, Best Bet was Susie Hutchinson’s junior hunter. And a GREAT one. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Best Bet (or “BB”)was a terrific little horse. Susie was winning open classes with him as a young junior against some pretty tough competition.

Scott judges quite a bit, and trains Caroline Moran.

The wife’s horse is a grey Showponymom, perhaps I can send him to you when she tires of the work associated with riding. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
My husband would kill me if I collected another animal. I just convinced him to send my large pony to our trainers for awhile to get her going. I bet your wifes horse is lovely, I don’t think she will tire of the work. You know it is a disease you can’t get rid of.
Speaking of greys didn’t C. Hankins have a lovely hunter that was grey?
Ahhh, “Mudpuddles” - I remember having too many fuzzy navals and puking out back - that was after the Deeridge party.
Does anyone remember Boren? He was a neat (yet quirky) one I rode for the Youngs. At LP, we had to wait in the flat phase of the Maclay for someone in the jumper ring, and Boren got bored and walked out of the ring on his hind legs. I got off and waited util the conflict was resolved.
Interestingly, the year after he was sold, he came out as a Small Junior - I had shown him as a Large. Then again, most of the other clients in the barn at the time had Smalls.
Some more names - Master Dan, Rub The Lamp, The Raven (remember when he got a “haircut” at indoors?).

What about Good Boy Dee </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
He looked gorgeous (from the pictures my trainer has - he was hers) at least from what I’ve seen.
River Train? Owned by the House Grain Company?
Just sort of stuck in my mind, but I may be a decade off.
you’re right BH2 he was Krissy Barlow’s lg jr. I took care of him and all of Krissy’s horses her last 2 jr yrs. Man I remember Timmy finding these places I could turn him out for the night, so lucky me had to go and get him from the field at 3AM so he could get cleaned up and braided. Loved it when I’d get there and he’s be sound asleep flat out in the field…oh yeah that did a lot of good…more LTD for me…

Claudius…Army Wife was on the same van as my eq. horse one year at New York. I was about fifteen, and stood in the truck petting her in awe the whole morning! I remember when poor Junie died during MSG too…and Terry sobbing </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Terry quit school and was planning to ride horses for Junie “forever”. Junie was “the man” back then. When All Around pulled into a show with all the vans, everyone knew they’d win everything in sight! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I remember those days, I was lessoning with Bobby Senger and she would let me tagalong to help groom. I was always in awe of them.
Yeah, BH1, the Birchbark Room was named for the eq horse that Fred Bauer won the MaClay on.
Harry, didn’t Michelle McEvoy and Alan Severnson ride Advance Ticket?
Ok - Long Islanders from long ago…
Does anyone remember Lancer’s Jewel and Mary Rintoul?

Who is Tamara? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I’m assuming Tamara McKinney, former pony rider and world class skier. And I believe she is Ouisha McKinney’s sister, the one who makes the sweaters.
Thank you…Dana’s horse was Speculation…I rode him like sh**&&t.
I remember him as having had alot of friends, he died very young though.
Well you listed two, Jane and Katie…but the third he listed…years and years ago…Mike Elmore. Fun facts to know and share.
I don’t remember what it was called, except the “thaw out room”.
Shoot…no. For some reason I think his name began with a “P” though…SOMEBODY’S gotta remember the skin grafts on his hind leg. They literally took chunks of flesh from under his belly and grafted them onto the leg…his belly had dents from the skin and flesh removal!!!
Molly99, I’m pretty sure Heather Caristo did show So No Wonder at one time.
Come on, let’s hit on the A/O and Jr. Divisions!
