I always loved Early Light.

We still thinking mid seventies?

This was a grey horse with a connemara type head, although I am certain a thoroughbred. Showed in the Junior Hunters, I remember seeing him at Children’s Services in Connecticut in the 60’s. It could have been Little Fiddle, but I truly believe it was Second Fiddle. Very pronounced dapples.

Upper aleft, maybe Lorraine Barrody.

Bottom left. Mary Mairs on Tomboy?

Mary was Louise’s mom.

BH2…Do you remember Kimberly Meyers…She went to camp with me etc. when she was little. Never showed much, or seemed to have much money…then all of a sudden bought Terra Cotta…then disappeared again…weird.

And I, thankfully, was the last person to show Count Tuscan, to my knowledge. Mrs. Burke asked me in a schooling ring if I knew how lucky I was to show him. My answer: “uh, yes.” LOL </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Wasn’t Count Tuscan a chestnut with a little white star? Didn’t Red Pfhol have him for a while?

Duke of Paeonian, Ruxton, Marked Card, Stocking stuffer, super flash, and, from my “youth” , Mariana.
Gozzi, Almost Always, or was it not always?though it eemed that he "always won!

I love the picture of your horse, Silly Momma, I am old, and the pic is dark, but it sure looks like RJ to me.
Madeline, I agree. I thought Isgilde made one of my earliest posts. Great horse!

Becky Warner was Pierre J’s first wife.

I know this is the fave hunter thread but they had a very nice jumper named Ideal.

Joe Darby showed Balalaika as well (I has not rembembered that Buddy did)…she had a perfect heart on her face. (she had shown as “Dear Heart” in the juniors I believe)

LaurieP can you post the old pictures that you have of mine? There are some great ones in that stack too!

Gratis owned by VonZegasar ridden by Scott Stewart?

Playbill owned by A/O Jeanne Goodspeed? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I remember both of those horses- they were at my barn for awhile. Then Gratis sold to the Kleins. He was a very nice horse. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Yes! I couldn’t remember who bought Gratis ‘back in the day’. Thanks for the memory. I knew them while I groomed at ORHC from '82 - '90. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Yep, I was at ORHC around that time and a few years after that. I kept a couple of horses there during that period! Good times at ORHC then- Miss T was still around, Scott was there, etc…

I think for some reason that the horse ridden by Robin Berol was a roan?

It is possible that I may get all this info into one document. Just names owners riders and decades, so put as much info up as you can! I guess I cannot use an attachment, so when it is all together, I will type it into a thread and everyone can correct it all!

Would that be Becky Warner?
