My old man…
Racetb, local Long Island horse shows have a Robert Hoskins Medal class in his honor.
Last I heard, Mia was back training in Cali. But that was at least 10 years ago.

Does anyone here remember Rule the Blues? He was shown by Leslie and Brian Lenehan and later by Nicole Shahinian when she was a junior. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
One of my closest friends took care of Spanky (Rule the Blues) throughout most of his career, and now has him retired on her farm.
I was taking care of Watership Down for Karen when she was taking care of Rule the Blues when Nicki was riding him. They were in HUGE head to head competition every week. Karen, Nicky and those two horses really pushed each other to be the best every time they entered the ring. It was great competition, and an absolute blast at ringside!
You’re right, Harry. He did look like a Farnley pony! Do you know if he’s still alive?
What happened to Rain Forest and Rumors (or do I not want to know?)?
Does anyone remember Scot To Do? Is he still around?
Another hand in the air for the LP and Rain Forest, either the next tent over, or maybe 2. I think immagration was there EVERY year!
Anyone here know if Lindsey Phoebus retired Spectacular somewhere? He has a USEF lifetime registration and she is still listed as the owner; he would be 26 now so not sure if still around, but would love to know what happened to that goofy horse after he retired from the show ring in the mid-90’s.
One of his first Junior horses was a cute brown gelding - Happy Landing.

Harry, Somewhere you asked about Miss Sears and two of her hunters. One was Among the Stars. Was the other Up In Smoke? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
At one time she also had “Beyond the Stars” IIRC although not as well known as ATS.

It was the Birch Wood room. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Sorry Harry, but I have to disagree. The room was the Birch Bark room. I always thought it was named after Fred’s grey horse. There was a picture of him in the room.

Showponymom, yes Melvin was at All Around when I was there. I haven’t seen him for years!
Duffy, I don’t know how this is possible but I have three email addresses for you. I’m pretty sure that one is wrong…help? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
They all still work, but mainly I’m on:
rhall@owenandwhitehurst.com.
How gracious of the owners to host a rally.

Gratis owned by VonZegasar ridden by Scott Stewart?
Playbill owned by A/O Jeanne Goodspeed? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I remember both of those horses- they were at my barn for awhile. Then Gratis sold to the Kleins. He was a very nice horse. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Yes! I couldn’t remember who bought Gratis ‘back in the day’. Thanks for the memory. I knew them while I groomed at ORHC from '82 - '90.
And Waiting Game. Whatever became of Gail, do you know?
I remember when Sunnyfield was first there. The Mc Intosh’s owned it. They did Dressage. But the indoor was HEATED and so they ran horse shows there during the winter. That was great times in the cold winter.
BAC Yes I a reasonably sure that Rome Dome was a Hunter as well.
Riot Free, Gozzi
He sure hasn’t changed!
How could we have missed Bavaria! I think we may have missed Up in Smoke, Marked Card (my nemisis!), Logically, Tiberius, Another March, Like a Charm and Isle of Erin as well.
I remember at least 2/3 of those horses, Chanda. I just loved Mink and Pearls!
