Is it just me or are there a LOT of Belgian warmbloods? And quite a few mares too.
Okay, I want a topiary sculpture of a dragon to put in my ring for my mare who sees imaginary dragons everywhere!
Hooray for Mclain!!! I actually really only wanted to watch to see him and Sapphire go. But I’m sad that I missed it…grrr stupid Macs.
So glad he was clean, rooting for him during the jump off!
Yikes for the NZL rider! I thought she was going to end up straddling that fence at first!
Very unfortunate for the NZL rider, but I admit I had a little chuckled at how she just sat on that green gate until it fell down. At least the pair is okay.
Also, I like that the US live commentator described it as ‘a plain dirty stop’. I would not have called that dirty - I would have called that a bad spot and a big, imposing fence.
I just had a feeling that grey horse wasn’t getting around…something about them didn’t look ready for this level! However, can I have this bay from Netherlands?
Hup Holland!
Can someone keep an eye out for the Argentine rider Larocca for me? I wanna know how he does.

I agree. They’d had several rails behind before even getting to the green picket fence. And, I’m stealing the bay from you! Loved him kicking out after the final jump!
ooo that was a painful looking fence stop for Katie!
Here’s your tea, don’t have vodka. How about bourbon?
I always love when people get REALLY excited about going clean or doing well and start seriously celebrating up there and the horses are like OMG WTF are you doing!?!?!?! LOL
I didn’t know Hong Kong had their own Olympic team. How nice for the rider to go double clear in front of the home town crowd (who loved him)!

Thank you - I really needed that tea, lol.

It’s late, I’m meant to be packing for a showjumping comp on Sat then a ODE on Sun and I am about 1/2 done, I am tired and cold … and for those reasons … I AM NOT AT ALL FUSSY! lol
Bourbon looks good.

lol! It’s so early here I can barely say Bourbon!
I am loving livestreaming this week!
You guys are being great “eyes” - thanks.
Strangely, after a break at the track, the swimming is back on
This rider from China seems like he’s in a bit over his head.
Interesting to see how many clears we are getting from relatively unknown riders while some of the favored BNRs are getting faults.
