ouch Lucy 12 faults…
Awwwwwwwwwwww. Arrrgghhhhh!
Nooo. I’m so bummed for her.
I’m not going to say anything else about any of the riders I want to do well. I will just comment as the rounds go.
Well, I think Barron is proving he’s not an Olympic level horse. I volunteer to take him off her hands.
(I love that horse!)

I am so going to miss Jon and Steve. They have me totally spoiled. Who hired them? The FEI?[/QUOTE]
They’re on practically every weekend at the Longines events.
World of Showjumping (dot) com has the links, the TV is completely free and way better quality than FEI TV.
Remember that a bunch of the top riders in the world are not in Rio, like Scott Brash & Bertram Allen- but can be seen at the other GP’s along with Luciana, Tiffany, Meredith, lots of Whitakers, etc etc.

Me, too! Can we have joint custody?
Bummer, but Lucy should still be proud of her First Olympic Games. Her clear round on day one of team competition helped secure the USA’s spot on the podium in the team competition. I think today might have just been a combination of nerve and of Barron being a bit tired. But she still gets to go home saying she’s an Olympic medalist!

Sure!! They’ll feel better that “Barron has two moms”.
So bummed for Lucy. But still great for her first Olympics at only 23!
Agreed about the commentators!! I usually have to mute the NBC coverage!
We got a “cracking round” for Carlo 273!
Qatari rider Al Thani has a great clear round and points to his horse (again) to loud applause!

I’m no one to be evaluating these rounds, but he also tapped a few that stayed up. He looked not as quick to me and like the week took its toll on him.
This really is a marathon.
So bummed for them, but they should certainly be so proud of this week.
ouch Meredith went right through the first jump!!! and she retires!!
pilot error!!
for MMB.
What the heck happened there?!!
Yeah, I find her a bit grating and repetitive and like him better even though he’s a contract NBC horse race guy. His SJ knowledge is lacking but he’s got an easier voice.
Wow…MMB…horse just didn’t jump…between that one and Lucy’s wonder if we are seeing some tired horses here? Tired riders and nerves too but…some dull efforts out there.
Oh MMB!! So sad!!
Wow, so shocking for Meredith. She is a mortal too, I supposed. Bummed for her, hope Nacho is OK.
WHAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT??? Merediiiiiiiiiiiiiith!!
Well that was unexpected.
