Show Jumping

I LOVE this commentator. He talks to us on our level. There was much heated debate about MST for the Olympics and I like him so much better. He gets very excited and still talks in a way that an average watcher isn’t totally lost but he also adds some history to the riders. I’m assuming we’re talking about the guy on TV, I’ve not watched live feed.

I don’t know about TV but there are two guys commentating on the live feed. Who’s doing TV? The one on the feed is a British guy Steve something and the second guy I’m not sure who he is.

I don’t know who’s on telly, but the feed has Steve Hadley and Phil Ghazala

Phil has a nice series call “Chez Philip” on You Tube with nice interviews. Watching him interview two young men from the South African Vaulting team.

I like the FEI tv commentator… knowledgeable and enthusiastic

I am not sure if has been said already but how was that rider that fell and that they took off behind the screens? I hope he is okay… Very scary.

this is all the press release says.

I find the newsroom from WEG a little short on info. No word yet of the autopsy results on the 2 horses.

no further follow up on the injured rider.

Oh it’s just one guy on TV and he’s British. I’ll have to listen closer when I get home to hear who it is. He’s very enthusiastic but he pretty much thinks everyone is a brilliant horseperson! LOL! But he’ll be like “oh took off to far from that water there! He had no chance of not landing a foot in it! That wasn’t a bit of brilliant riding there now was it!?”

wrong thread

Imothep’s such a sassy-pants, I love it. Great trip for Darragh Kenny. I do love the FEI TV commentator “That was a smashing round, just smashing.”

Does anyone have a link to live scoring? When I go to the official WEG website and click on “live” for today’s event, it is stuck at the same one or two names, and I know it started an hour ago.

Thanks, for whatever reason that just won’t work for me today, I used it earlier in the week with no problem. I guess I will just have to wait for the final results.

The crowd must be MENTAL. A clear for Penelope Leprevost on Flora de Mariposa. Let’s have two women in the final four! Go Cortes!

So far- McLain and Kent with 4 faults each

Dutch have 5 and 4 faults

Germans have a clear round and 5 faults

French have a clear and 4 faults

Canada 4 and 13

USA has dropped out of the medals currently

Does anyone have a order?

We can’t buy a clear round right now. Come on Beezie!!!

So does yesterday and today determine team medals? Does the speed round count toward team medals or just individual standings? From what I’ve gathered speed rounds count toward individuals only.
