Just curious, because I haven’t been able to watch anything so far.
My husband has been able to log in to Live Extra, which is great, but the eventing dressage from today was not archived, and so far, I only see highlights archived.
So, what good is live streaming when there is no archived video streaming such as in Beijing?
me, but not via nbc.
Just watched the opening ceremonies live on BBC stream.
I don’t think NBC streams start until tomorrow.
Eventing dressage Day 1@ 4:55am July 28th. EST

Do tell!
There are all sorts of sites streaming the NBC feeds. You should be careful though.
You could download the program from http://www.expatshield.com (you can turn it on and off - it lives in your tray) then watch the BBC streams @ http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/live-video
But REALLY…NBC DOESN’T START UNTIL TOMORROW. (nor does the dressage.) http://www.nbcolympics.com/online-listings/day=july-27/index.html
I know the equestrian doesn’t start, but I wanted to get everything set up before it did. There were events yesterday and today.

There is archive video.(click the video button) http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/browse/index.html?menu3#fx=fullEventsReplays
There was no live streaming today. There was no eventing dressage today.
In Europe, go to www.eurovisiontv.com and click on live channel 4. I don’t know if you can do that from anywhere else in the world.
I finally was able to get it yesterday, and am watching the Eventing Dressage right now. It’s not perfect, but, much better than what I was able to get during past Olympics, which was nothing.
OMG, thank you Equibrit!
So I downloaded the app and tried to watch the archived eventing dressage, but the resolution was so poor, I gave up. Any idea how to improve this? Watching on an IPad with DSL, is this as good as it gets with this setup? Thanks for any help!
Am watching it now. Have a Dish Satellite TV subscription, so watching the live online coverage on nbcolympics.com, which lets you sign on with your TV provider info, as long as it includes CNBC & MSNBC. (Got all that?!?)
TV tuned into the channel which is supposed to have equestrian, among others - the other on right now is Serbian v Chinese women volleyball.
Only problem is, my internet coverage is Hughesnet, so I’m whittling away my allowable daily download amount. Will probably have to convert over some saved tokens if I watch much longer. 3 riders = 15% used up already. At least the coverage online is consistent - not spotty, or with pauses as happens so often with live online coverage.
Watching NBColympics live stream dressage this morning. A little choppy but that could well be my computer - video card’s not so great.
Watched the Opening Ceremony livestream on BBC last night. That was smooth.
I watched dressage this morning on my iphone.
Ugh, for the life of me I can’t get any live feed to work! I don’t have cable so apparently this is going to be a problem.
In Canada, the CTV live streaming is having technical difficulties and has been off and on since yesterday. The RDS link is working perfectly:
http://www.rdsolympiques.ca/videos/channel/obs3/watch/equestrian-eventing-dressage.html
Note - this only works if you’re in Canada.
livestreaming from NBCOlympics.com, and captured 3 hours of dressage stream on the computer (thank you, equibrit). Now I just have to figure out how to edit it.
Boy do I wish we could get a commentator. (an actual eventing / dressage commentator, not someone from NBC who learned how to pronounce ‘dressage’ yesterday.)
It was working great for me… then not so great. Rebooted and now the website won’t register my Cox selection. Ugh. Worked fine yesterday.
ETA: Sent an email so hopefully they can get it straightened out! Very frustrating because the website won’t let me select Cox as my cable provider at all.
