Sick cat Updated, doing much better!

She’s looking better today. Trying to make a run out of the bathroom and eating better  Still leaving drips of poo everywhere though :face_vomiting:

Poor thing. They’re such fastidious creatures, she’s probably very unhappy about it too.

I know you’ll be glad to stop the clean up!

How long did the vet think this would happen?

I know managing Thomas was challenging at times. I had to back off meds when his stool was too loose and others dose to effect when the normal dose did nothing.

Much better! Still underweight, but she’s bright and active. Her poo is soft, but formed and she’s not dripping all over the bathroom anymore. I’ve let her out into the rest of the house, and now she thinks she should go back outside, lol.

She’s eating well. So far she’ll eat any of the canned food I have, 1 can a day, split between two feedings. She’s getting a hand full of dry as well, along with some yummy stuff to encourage her to eat. She likes the FortiFlora too, which is nice.

Great update on Ivy ~ be proud of yourself for having gotten her through this episode.

Jingles & AO for Ivy to completely “bounce” back to her former self ~

Ivy is doing well. She’s gained a couple pounds back, still has a couple to go. Her coat is looking good and she’s being her normal, snarky/friendly self.

I am so glad to hear that. I was thinking of Ivy the other day. My boy Nic had his checkup this week and is doing well. The stitches are dissolving though and what a mess of drool.

lol, I’ve never dealt with cat drool thankfully. I get plenty of baby drool, though

Thank you for the FortiFlora. I think it’s really helped!

I’m glad Nic is doing well! He’s had quite a journey.
