At least with this rule, both PD and Jessie have a chance to redeem themselves from the first show jumping round. Both had pretty uncharacteristic rounds from what I hear.
I so want Jessie to be happy with her go. For her and Tucker’s first Olympic games, I think she’s done extremely well, but three rails in unlike Tucker who is usually quite allergic to wood.

Three is the max. Each sport’s governing body can make it less than three.
I am not familiar with gymnastics, but in swimming it is two per country in each event. In some cases the time of the third place finisher at US trials would have been fast enough for a medal at the Games. How’s that for a pisser.

He is IND 10th or so…he really does not have much chance of an IND medal. She is in 8th. He is a better show jumper yes, but her generosity will not make much difference to a medal count. Just placings.

Come on Jessie! Really like this young lady. She is, apparently, staying on to base herself in the UK. Good for her.
She rode a great round even though she pulled two. This is a nice horse.
