What happened to this big announcement?
Anyway, I noticed that they came out with a BUNCH of new styles of the Piper breeches so I went hog wild buying them to try (with matching tops) and almost ALL of them (every item, top and bottom other than ONE) are backordered until mid-April. Why put something on the website that you don’t HAVE yet?!
Hopefully I like them when they get here. I don’t know if I am going to keep them all or return/exchange some-- but I got all excited to try their new stuff and then it turns out-- they don’t really have much of any of it in stock yet
I placed an order yesterday afternoon and now they have a sale today Since its shipping with my SmartPaks, its already processed and I can’t cancel. Oh - First World Problems.
OK, ok, so the new clothing is all super cute! I have to say that i’m very impressed. A bit pricey, but cute.
I like the new SP brand dressage coat, and the new SP white show breeches (fullseat). Those seem to be a good value!

if you email or call them they usually will do a price adjustment. They have for me in the past.

Live chat never works for me, took 4 business days for a response to an email recently, which was a pretty frustrating response, I have to say. I simply emailed stating my concerns that my horse was on a $50/month supplement for almost a year with no results, and I was looking for something alternative to what I was feeding (I also think it was a guaranteed to work supp, I’d have to check, whatever that actually means) and instead of giving me valid suggestions like SP has done in the past, they told me to consult my vet. I get that a vet should always be involved, and mine is, but the vet isn’t a “supplement nerd” like SP’s supplement gurus are supposed to be…Instead of suggesting helpful products, and probably getting me to spend that $50 on other products, she just told me to call my vet…seriously???
Anyhow, I still have a bit of faith with SP, haven’t given up on them YET. Glad to see the 15% savings, ordered BOT quick wraps and a new girth. Though I was peeved that my smartpak brand girth didn’t get double savings, I’d have loved to get the 15% and my VIP smart Perks discount. I didn’t even get a discount on BOT, because they aren’t eligible for discounts, so I only saved $5. Lame. BUT for those who were talking about free embroidery, I checked on the Smartpak Calendar, and FREE EMBROIDERY starts April 1st! I’ll be ordering an embroidered fly mask, and I’m pretty stoked about it!
I hope the recent influx of bobbles with SP are just a small bump in the road. I don’t want to lessen my thoughts of them as a company or their customer service. I could have ordered my quick wraps anywhere, they’re essentially the same price no matter where you go, but chose them, thinking if I had any issues with the sizing or the product, that their customer service would be easiest to deal with.

The online chat thing has not worked in forever for me either. And no, your smartperks discount do not combine, usually, with the “specials” the run on occasion. Although, they did offer that a month or so ago during a special they were having, but that is the first time I have seen them combine it.

I agree–this happened to me with a pair of Pipers recently. I just called and they canceled the old order, reordered the item for me at the lower price.
Despite being on smartpaks for 3 years now, I have never received a calendar. Can you please let me know the code? I need a new fly sheet and mask, and I prefer them embroidered so that they don’t end up worn by someone else.

Absolutely, I’ll peek at the calendar when I get home, I can’t remember if the code is already listed or if it’s blasted out once the special starts, but regardless I’ll be sure to share!

I only got one calendar out of 3. I put that comment in the survey.
More hoops and hassles with Smartpak. Such a pain dealing with them. They really need to change this declaration as it is all hoops and hassles. Even with their 10 yr warranty sheets and blankets…

Interesting. I have also had kind of crappy dealings with them lately. I guess that’s a good thing as I will buy a lot less stuff overall…
