I’m glad she’s doing well. She is so cute! She wants to be friends with everyone but Maximus looks like he’s not so sure.

No - he was asleep, actually, and she just laid down next to him and conked out. He woke up a few minutes later (after stretching his back legs and kicking her), then started to take a bath, then suddenly realized she was there.

That’s nice to see. The look on her face is saying, “If I stay very still maybe he won’t notice I’m here”
For Ella it’s Ralph and Ralph only that can go near her or touch her. If one of the others even walk within a 2 foot radius around her she hisses and growls at them. Of course the Kittens With Mittens think that’s a challenge and try her patience, then she yowls at them and Ralph comes running and knocks their heads together. Her latest behaviour development is that she now sits in the front window or in my arms looking out the front door and growls at anyone walking by.

Morning chores completed ~ even trimmed some wild evergreen branches back at the front security gate on ‘my trash to curb event’ ~ back inside with coffee and could use a Sunday Itty Bitty Big picture or ten … pplleeaassee ?!

You can tell by the look on Ella’s face that she barely tolerates him at times. They do have a very close relationship.
Hard to believe that Ralph is and always has been the alpha of the house, he worships her.
He puts up with her Torbie personality and attitude. He’s 11 and she’s 9 and they still play together like kittens.

Yes, she does - but she has to go back to the vet for a check-up this week, if I can get her in. The last few days her breath has been awful - smells like an abscess, in fact. No other symptoms, though, so I don’t know what’s going on. It’s not cat food breath, for sure! It’s definitely got that abscess smell.

This sounds like a bacterial infection and will need antibiotics. If the smell is getting worse eg you can smell her before you can see her then get thee to the vet sooner rather than later. JMHO.

She’s not that bad yet, but if she slobbers on me, you can definitely smell it all over my hand! I will call tomorrow for an appointment.
