Yes! I tend to forget how big he is.
So funny! I love the pic of her pinned under Hammie. She looks like she has quite a personality. Tiny doesn’t want to be friends with her?
Oh this little mite is chocked full of personality. Uncle Hammie is a good sport for all her shenanigans.
Does a mischievous kitten like her keep the rambunctious personality when they mature? Or do they quiet down and become a boring, sedate big cat?
She is sooooo photogenic.
And you’re a great picture taker!
Itty Bitty is delightful !
*All my ‘flying termites’ have remained flying termites for life.
- Especially the ‘ferals’ sporting life-saving huge ears and eyes…even when invited to life as “indoor cats” as itty bitty kitties.
FWIW
Oddly enough, no! I thought he would, because he was so fascinated with her the first night, but since then he’s been pretty stand-offish. Now that she’s playing more outside the crate, they may start to come around. She’s pretty lonely, poor thing!
Oh, I used to be a good picture taker! She moves too fast for me to catch, AND she hates having her picture taken. Seriously. She starts to be cute, I grab the phone, and she literally sees the phone in my hand and either runs away, or tries to attack it!
Most of the kittens that have been hellions, remained so. They might mellow somewhat, but not always. Hammie was always playful, but loved his lap time - the same is still true today. Mick was always the Psycho Demon Cat, even as a kitten - still is, 16 years later.
“Flying termites.” Love it!
In looking back through these pics, Hammie is sayin “I don’t seeeeee you.” And she says,
“Well, can you feeeeel this?” Gnash, Bite, Chew.
Baler was a total terror and he did get very lonely as he was a tiny busy baby in the old cats home. He still charges thru the house and tries to wrestle with the others but for the most part has lost all that baby rambunctiousness.
@Alex_and_Bodie_s_Mom - I love how the mischief just sparkles out of her little eyes. And I can see you hate cats by the amount of cat toys on the floor. Looks like my house. LOL
Oh ! My ! Really testing boundaries !
Love Itty Bitty !
How is the cute little baby today and her friend? Napping, playing
Getting into things?
VERY much getting into things! She’s still supposed to be on highly supervised outings, because let’s face it, she still weighs about 1lb! (Is she EVER going to grow?!) - but after one night of investigating and exploring my room, she decided that was boring and has now explored the hallway, bathroom, office, and just this morning started to venture into the kitchen. No one is safe. No one.
She played hard this morning for about two hours before I had to go to work. I put her in the crate with her food and she was eating when I snuck out. I’ll go home at lunch and check her again, of course.
Little mischief maker!
What a personality filled kitten
I really don’t know how you can pass her onto another home? There is no way I could let her go if she was at my house.
If I found exactly the right home, I think I could do it. But it gets harder every day to think about! She’s still not a snuggler, though; she’d rather be roughhousing. I need to get video of her attacking Hammie - it reminds me of the scene in My Cousin Vinny where Joe Pesci flings himself at the pool hall guy. Except she just bounces off Hammie!
I made the mistake of buying Royal Canin and Blue Wilderness kitten food this weekend. Now she thinks the Fancy Feast is for peasants.
Only the best for the little princess!
Maybe her mom weaned her early. Because she’s so naughty. I tell my naughty cat that his mama was probably glad when he was weaned.
Love the stories … Itty Bitty is a ‘keeper’ !
My Pyscho Demon Cat Mick was abandoned by her mother. I took her in when she was four weeks. I now know why she was abandoned!
But honestly, when she plays with me, she never uses her claws and she bites gently. But when she gets mad, she does not know how to back down!
