I have never tried these solutions to cutting leggings, but here are a couple of ideas. (I wonder about wither abrasions - maybe use a fleecy band if necessary?) Best of luck!

I’ve seen these but they were sewn for him. I want to know how to cut leggings or tights to fit both front and back. Sewing isn’t going to happen.

The tights I saw looked like they were cut so that there was nothing really across the chest.
I meant leggings! Not tights. Sorry. I haven’t tried them yet. I ordered two pairs for Tony. I’ll let you know how it goes. Our vet showed us a picture and the leggings were loosely tied together with baling twine over the shoulders and hips. The fly boots were attached over them to keep them from being a step hazard.

Oh dear, of course you would have seen these already in your searches. Other options that spring to mind are scary. Perhaps donkeys have less of a death-wish than horses, but any terrestrial life-form that can incur a vet bill will do so…

So the latest donkey challenge is getting her to eat her pill. She liked fig newtons for a day. Same with strawberry cream sandwich cookies. She has zero interest in fruit roll up. We will try apple sauce next. I am trying to avoid buying pill pockets bc it is $.
I feel like she gives me the side eye…what are you going to try to do now?
Her legs are still looking good but require constant vigilance. I was impressed by how quickly the hair came back.
Donkey update - she is eating her pill with a very small handful of hay balancer, starting to shed out and still doing ok with the diaper cream on her legs. Still getting a lot of side-eye but I am making progress.
