For what it’s worth, OP, I got that you were, “Joking,” about the circling the bowl stuff. What you considered to be a joke, I considered to be mean-spirited rumor mongering. But one person’s mean-spirited gossip is another person’s happy place, so you do you, I guess.
I also got your, “Sarcasm,” when you responded to another poster’s question about whether SmartPak was going out of business. While you might have meant it in a light-hearted way, I read it as mean-spirited and unnecessarily snarky. I would assume that more than one person would read a thread title about SmartPak, “Circling the bowl,” and be curious about that. Especially in light of the other thread, where it appears that the past year’s shipping issues may have made a significant impact on SmartPak’s profit margin.
What I don’t get is how this escalated from a joke that some people didn’t find especially funny and snarky sarcasm to, “Many many many,” of us having intelligence issues. I mean, what would you expect? In your own grandiose opinion, you are the queen of freaking comedy and the highest pinnacle of intelligence on this entire board. Obviously the rest of us could not be depended upon to understand your high level humor and we are deserving of your sarcasm and irritation - after all, you didn’t do anything wrong by insinuating that a business was going out of business and then insulting fellow board members who asked for clarification. It was so obviously the rest of us who just. don’t. get. it.
Yup, THAT was sarcasm and mean-spirited joking by the way.
