Spinoff: Anyone looking for long lost barn pals?

Finally Farm

Anyone ride with Carol Peachey at Finally Farm in Bucks County PA at any time
or on the BCCC team around 1990

I’ve had good luck with this on Facebook.

I would love to get in touch with my old instructors Catherine Pardue and [b] Lori Crifield/b.

Now everyone needs to search themselves on this thread to see if anyone is looking for them, lol.

Carolee Burgess… moved away in 5th grade. I was never quite the same. We were both odd horsey girls in a sea of girly girls…

I’d also love to find Esther and Eleanor Menz, from Rehobeth, MA…

And Rainey Lancaster-Therrault (sp? on the Therrault?) from down south. Was from Alabama.

Lisa, Dawn and Jossie from the Towers’ farm… I don’t know if any of them stayed in horses. We were the three musketeers (of course there were four. As It Should Be. )

Anyone from Goldens Bridge Hounds Pony Club (Metro region) 1965 - 1971

Kay- moved to California…??? Had a great Cleveland Bay cross while at school…

ANY info would be great…

Thanks,
Lori
PM if you want!!!
I think I know your Kay. I sent you a PM

I would love to find Kim Morgan. She was the instructor at Rosa Gale’s Great Falls Riding Center in 1977-78. She was originally from Seattle, did the hunters, then earned her instructors certificate in England, and began eventing a bit. She returned to the west Coast in 1978, and I have not heard from her since. Her horse’s name was Divine Comedy “Dante”.

I would also like to find others that boarded at that farm in the last 70s.

Reaching way back to the 60’s and 70’s, anyone form Potomac Horse Center, Campbell’s near Pittsburgh and the orginal Four Seasons in Readington NJ?

Me! Potomac Horse Center in the late 70’s, I think .

Yay! Found her…on my own. It was great getting back in touch. Hope you all are able to reconnect.

I found nearly ALL my old riding buddies on Facebook. We even have our own “group” on there. It’s so great to reconnect and see where everyone is and how everyone is doing nowadays.

NY/NJ Peeps!

Anyone that rode with Joyce Prezebowski at Touch-n-Go Farms out on Long Island? I was there in the early '90, did the Eq and jumpers with Joyce, I heard she is a judge now? I was VERY lucky and had the opportunity to ride and lease Cinema I (yes, THE Cinema I from the book Show Rider :D)

and in southern NJ, Red Oak Farm, near Toms River somewhere, late 80’s, the owner/trainer was Christine something???

Would love to hear from others!!!

In the early 90’s I was friends with Ellen Sanders in Lexington KY. She went to the school at the horse park before I met her and before that she was in college in the midwest (Indiana or Ohio I cant remember) and rode H/J. I heard she moved to the Washington State area (I think she had a brother there) but was from Cleveland Ohio. I have tried to look her up but Im sure she is married now and I have no means to find her.

trying to catch up

a friend sent me a link to this page. I live in NM now, and Augie is still with me- she’s 29 now. I’ve been having some trouble with this site. Please respond so I know who u r. can’t wait to catch up. Cindy O

Curb Appeal: I can’t help you on Trish, but wonder if you know what became of Ellen Grady and her horse “Bittersweat?” I knew Ellen from when she’d come out to Shadow Creek in Forest Lake, MN to train/give lessons in mid 80’ to late '80. She wouldn’t remember me I don’t think, but I used to tack up her training horses for her…what a tiny sprite she was, with her cute curly white hair!

I’ve been looking for [B]Susan Lee Marshall /B for years. She married Butch Dombrowski in Virginia but then divorced and married again. Lost her by then…

Same here! I found one old riding buddy on Facebook, and now the whole Elm Brook Farm gang (Concord, Mass) is there!

Otis Brown Stables - St. Louis Missouri - RIDERS

Where is Elise (AZ ) Maloney - from Otis brown Stables in St. Louis??? or to add others - Bill Nelson - Sharon Pettus and Robert and Airlia ??? We had a grand time riding across Sisters’ of Mercy land and making the nuns :mad:MAD!!!And of course our 22+ horse trail day  at Queeny Park — with water balloon fights ON horse back!!! What a group of great people and horses !!! Miss them all!!!

Oh I thought of another!!!

Pat Cole (though she has since remarried) She used to have a farm in Monk’s Corner, South Carolina. She had straight white hair, was short, and was, um, not skinny. She was also very eccentric. The farm name was Canter Merry Stables, and most of her ponies had the word “Merry” in their show name. I was a counselor at her summer camp one year, and showed a few of her ponies at the Seabrook Island Horse show. I think this was around '93?
her new married name is Epstein, she’s on FB. I don’t think she does the horses any longer. I saw her as a friend of a friend…

Sue Niedenthal in Virginia Beach, VA

Did anyone ever ride with Sue Niedenthal of Stable Time Farm (mid 90s) and then Sterling Meadows (mid-late 90s) in Virginia Beach, VA? I rode with her for years in the summer time when I’d visit my dad and would love to know how she’s doing!
