I’ve been trying to find an old friend Michelle Calvert. She and her husband/children were stationed down here while he went to a training course on Keesler AFB, and she boarded her three horses at the same barn I had Apollo at. I’ve missed her often and wished to be back in touch with her. They were from Maine, but her father also had a farm in Florida. She helped me a lot with my bratty boy.
Oh, I would love to find Ingrid Mattis, circa 1980. We rode at different barns in Westchester Co. NY and she was also good friends with Tracy Freels (Bob and Jerri’s daughter). Ingrid are you out there?

People I’d like to know what happened to…
Eden Kuesellhut (sp?), was a very sweet girl I knew way back when in California. Her family moved to somewhere on the east coast when we were just kids. This was probably 25 years ago. She was a lovely rider and had the cutest horse ever. I can’t remember his name but he was a bright red chestnut morgan horse with 4 white socks.
Nancy Harris, also orginally from California. Last I heard she’d moved to France and had gotten married. I bought my first pony from her and she later bought my old show horse, Royal.
I thought of another.
Abby MacBride. I bought Applesauce from her back in the early 80’s. We used to hang out, go for rides, get in trouble. Last I heard she was in Charlottesville, Va.
Looking for any of the girls that used to attend Hickory Hill Farm/Manor Stables summer camp in Gettysburg, PA. This would have been in the early to mid 80’s. Really had a great time with my summers and all the people. Would be nice to reconnect. I was really special one summer because I got Karen McKelvey to come down for a weekend and help all us dreamers out! She was my idol!

I don’t have an old riding friend per se, but I had a great friend waaaay back in elementary school (in Loveland, Colorado 1970’s) who was easily as horse-crazy as me. Her name was Stacey Downing. She moved after 2nd or 3rd grade - I’d love to know what she’s up to these days, if she kept up her horseaholicism, etc…
I’d like to find an old BM. I boarded with her in Bluffdale, Utah at a farm called Harrington Ranch. Since her name is Judy Harrington, I thought she owned the place – but while I was away on a business trip I received notice that she had been evicted. I never saw her again. I just want to know she is OK and find out where she ended up.
This was fall of 1999 through (I think) spring of 2001.

I am looking for a women named Angel from PA. She had a husband named Bobby, and her horses were a TB named Bubbles and little paint mare named Mocha. She boarded at Sunrise Ranch in Woodstown, NJ around 2000-2003? Just like to catch up see how she is making out and let her know I got back into horses after 6 years. Thanks.
I would love to find Darlene Preston…her husband name is “Bob” and they lived in Texas last year. I miss her and she was my maid of honor, lost contact when my Mom got sick. She rides dressage with a lady (last known) who has a wb stallion there. Information doesn’t have a number for them…so, they may have moved. ??? Anyone know her? She had an older gelding named “Jacko”, a pinto wb cross gelding named Tempi??? I think and a TB mare named “Cupid”. She has 2 sons too.
I recently reconnected with an old friend…we spent hours riding together from age 10-14…boys, and all that goes with adolescence, resulted in a falling out.
When we were 38 we reconnected and now email frequently. It was amazing and so, so wonderful to find this special friend again.

Any one out there ride in the HPTA in Michigan during the late 70’s. It was a bunch of trainers who got together to hold “training shows” and different barns.
I used to take lessons with Debbie Butler. I rode an appaloosa named Warlochs Image.

There are soooo many people I’ve known through various barns over the years that I lost contact with when I moved, they moved, etc. I wouldn’t even know where to begin with individual people.
But I’d love to get back in touch with old friends from the summer camps I taught lessons at back in the late '90s-- specifically Camp Hidden Falls and Camp Indian Run, both in PA.

Vicky Lazarik - Also rode at Floradale farm in NJ, early 80’s - had a pony called Cully
Those are the ones I can think of at the moment that I was good friends with, there were so many other casual friends along the way though!!
