Sports Bra Reviews

34D here, and these are my favorites as well. No wire, supportive, uni-boob is actually not that bad.

I have bad shoulders and hands, so pull-on sports bras and front closures are a no-go for me… They roll up in the back and I cannot get them unrolled because I cannot reach them. The Shock Absorber bra I uses is more like a normal bra.

I have been riding in the Shock bra as well and it is the best support I’ve found. Not a uniboob fan either but there is no bounce.
I am petite except for my boobs…they are a a 36C which is big for my 66 year old 5’ 110 pound body.
I’m going to take a look at this SheFit site, but not too sure about ordering on line.
I like to try things on and always have a good laugh when I’m in the fitting room jumping up and down…wondering if there’s a security camera in there wondering WTH the old lady is doing

Alright so if I have a 34DD Fiona what size shefit would I get? I’ve been on the fence as I really like the Fiona but starting to do more sitting as we work on second and from the comments here it might be worth getting one to try.

My friend actually bought me a Glamorise sports bra (I guess she got tired of seeing me bounce!). It is absolutely amazing. I don’t know how it works as well as it does, but it does. I’ve tried Enell (the uniboob bra), Cheata (the “I can’t get this on myself” bra), and a variety of other sports bras, but the Glamorise bra beats them all.

I’m a 34DD and this is the bra I now use for riding and at the gym. Much cheaper than the SheFit or Anita. No uniboob issues. I used to ride in the Anita but they are very expensive and not quite as supportive.

How the heck do you get in these sport bras with back closures when you have crossed straps and all the adjustment is in the back?

I tried one of the Target Champion C9 bras - it chafed the heck out of me. A little sweat, and it became a torture device. Unfortunately, can’t return it.

Oh this thread is so timely! I’m ordering the SheFit based on all your recommendations. Currently breastfeeding and these boobs are a whole different beast from what I’m used to (only took 5 months to figure out the two bras trick…)

It took some getting used to but I can get it on about as quickly as a regular bra after using it for a couple weeks. You just have to learn the technique.

I wish Shefit would offer a model with non-removable pads. I like the ‘modesty’ pads, but wish I didnt have to monkey with re-installing the darn things after each and every wash.

I have washed mine twice now and just left the pads in? So far, no issues with that? Are yours falling out, or bunching up?

@MysticOakRanch I wash it in a dedicates bag with the pads in and have experienced bunching up or shifting each time. Not the end of the world, but I’d like to have the pads secured there.

Thanks for this thread. Got so fed up with my “fluffiness” flopping everywhere last week that I ordered the Enell straightjacket. I like the back design- anything racerback style just creates another set of boobs on me from behind. :sigh:
Can’t be any less breathable than the double-bra strategy I hope…
Anxiously waiting to try it!

I’m on the bigger side (F-G depending on brand), and am slave to the double bra. I have even been desperate enough to use an ace bandage to secure things…ugh. I do really like my Underarmour sports bra - it zips up the front and locks the girls in pretty good for an average work out, and its not super stuffy (the struggle is real) but there is still some unsightly bounce when I ride. (I watched a video of me sitting a pogo-stick trot, and it was obscene!)

I’ll be trying the Shefit for sure now. I’ve been eyeballing them for months, I’ve just bee nervous about them not living up to expectations.

I’d even consider a reduction if I wasn’t so nervous about the though of surgery and complications. Any experiences there?

I had mine done! And I had them go on the small side so I"m a C sometimes D depending on the bra. It was the BEST deicsion ever. Hurt like a bitch for a week, I was back riding at 3 or 3.5 though my dr had recommended waiting till 6 weeks out I was fine. BUT I was jumping then so no sitting trot. Having a good front zip bra is the most important thing. I’m 40 and they look better than when I was 15!

OMG a C would be bomb.

I’ve known of a couple of people who did the reduction surgery and ended up with permanent pain issues - one was a rider, and had to give up riding. I know there are instances where it is a total success, but that scared the bejesus out of me… I’d love to be a C cup again in my riding career, but I don’t want to have to give up riding because it hurts too much…

MOR brings up a good point, While I have no pain I do have significant loss of feeling. If that may bother you, I’d skip the surgery.

I didn’t read through so I’m not sure if it has been mentioned, but I like Leonisa bras with the shoulder/back support (like a shoulders back device). You can buy them directly from them or on Amazon.

OK, to answer my own question, the Kerrits sports bra is completely worthless, and non-returnable.
