Sports Bra Reviews

The Lululemon Enlight bras. They’re pricey, but worth it. No wire, good coverage, straps can’t slip, great fabric…

That is good to know!

Enell update: tried it, loved it, but actually need the next size down. Bonus= better posture.
Also went a little crazy and ordered a Shefit for comparison. For reference, I have a 33" ribcage and 42" bust.

Would love to hear your comparison of the two bras! I tried both (original post), and the Enell didn’t work for me, but we all have different body types.

OK!!
Broke down and ordered a SheFit… arrived today.
Expensive as I am in Canada, but WOW! Super supportive.
Can’t wait to ride in it!

Now… has anyone worn it without the insert pads?
I sure don’t need the extra bulk.

I would love to hear an update when you have one. I also have a very small ribcage and a larger bust. The Enell size 1 fits perfectly but it’s hot and sweaty and I loathe those front seams that show through everything.

I just sent a Shefit bra back for a refund. The bra’s adjustability has limits! I am tall and broad and the straps weren’t long enough by a couple of inches.

I wanted a more sports bra-like bra for running, but it looks like I’m sticking to the one that has worked for me. The Wacoal underwire sports bra:

And…two of the colors are on sale. I have never seen this bra on sale!

Ok, just tried on the SheFit (1Luxe) and that’s a hard nope from me. Not even going to try riding in it. I may have liked it more if I had a more toned back- just way too much spillage, and it felt like the band and straps really dug in when I cinched it up to a workable level of support. Also a little tricky to cinch it up without the back slider turning horizontal and I managed to pinch myself pretty good with a front strap! #thestruggle
In front it’s okay, not as much coverage or bounce control as the Enell. I thought the fabric would be softer- it’s almost like swim short material? Seems more breathable for sure.

TLDR: SheFit was not supportive enough in front AND back for my fluff. Sad, it’s really much more attractive than the Enell.

Anybody tried the Cheeta Lock Down bra?
I’ve tried a few bra’s mentioned here, but this is the one I thought worked the best (38/DD).

I do not use the insert pads. Give it a try with out.

I just tried it yesterday without the pads - and really didn’t notice any difference at all! Dumping the pads

I bought the Cheeta trotter and the fabric is very soft and flexible. The trotter style zips at the back though which made getting it on a bit of an adventure and it didn’t give the flexibility of the adjustable straps and back. I was sorry I didn’t try the front zip version that cb06 wears as it looks way easier to get into.

I think I would still miss the adjustability of the Shefit though and that is for sure the bra of choice for me. I don’t use the insert pads and I haven’t noticed any difference either.

I just sprung for this one too, but it’s not on sale in my local dept. store (Canadian)
 @Bristol Bay we can do a digital pas-de-deux w/ our strapped downs!

Haha! Let me know how you like it.

I didn’t love the Shefit and wish I had sent it back. Never even made it to the saddle, just used it for my usual workout. I feel like it didn’t come up high enough to contain things and yet when I cinched the band strap, the metal buckle part was all twisted (to get it tight enough). I am a small band, large cup so I think if you aren’t so misshapen, it might work for you. But tightened down, the metal pieces all rubbed me the wrong way.
