ray, how is this working?
You have divisions on your entry form. I thought the poker run was an in addition too?

Call me confused… I just need to know how fast to go as I grab my cards

confused… you and me both! I think its not timed, so go as fast as you want  Not sure why there are still divisons, guess all will be made clear tomorrow!

try find me to say hey; I am on the dark brown mare and my pace-partner is a flashy pinto large pony/small horse.

I did respond on the other BB we are on but want to say-job well done by the hunt. It was nice to hear “this is all for our hounds” and I know ONBH does a lot at Great Brook to keep the jumps open and going.

We had a lovely day. Happy Haffy…I do believe I saw you flying by from the start line. Lots of Haffy’s but only one with a “buzz cut”.

Thanks so much!

hey are you guys talking about the Lord Creek Hunter Pace?? If so me and my friend will be there!! Ill be riding a little bay mare in lime green =] and my friend will be riding a little bay morgan gelding. Im so excited.

No, we were a bit north of you. Old Northbridge had their hunter pace which was actually a poker run today. It wasn’t timed except to stagger riders at the start. It was well done and since so many normally would ride a pace it was to us a hunter pace with stops.

There was perfect weather. THey got a great crowd. The food wagon and tack sale were just extras while there. I came home to lots of paperwork and will be doing more tonight. It was a great way to spend my am.

Oh… and we drew a horrid hand and came in last in our division. Oh well… that’s why I don’t go to the casinos.

WOW! what a great turn-out! thanks to all who attended yesterday’s Old North Bridge Hounds Poker Ride. We really do apply the funds raised to care for our hounds; we have low member fees and are trying to keep hunting accessible to the average person.

The results are posted on our Website at http://www.onbh.org/onbhhunterpacespring2008Results.htm. We will be mailing out awards and ribbons shortly.

Our fall hunter pace will be on Sunday, October 5 at Great Brook Farm State Park in Carlisle. Please mark your calendars.

(the poker ride format was well recieved. I thought it would be silly but it was actually fun. any other feedback is much appreiciated)

With the heat wave this past weekend did anyone go to the norfolk Pace? Results? It was pretty hot out on the NE trails. I hope people got out early and enjoyed the day. I personally took a nice trail ride and then crashed under a lovely shade tree . That Sam Adams tasted mighty good…

I was there and was grateful for the breeze. How do you get the results? No contact information on their website…

Not a hunter pace but . . . .

Still alot of fun, there’s a poker run at Lord’s Creek Farm in Lyme,Ct. this Saturday. Miles of groomed trails, jumps and views of the Ct. river. Mr. Redpony is going with a friend of mine - I’m scribing all weekend : ((((

So does anyone know where to look for events taking place in the summer and fall now? I missed the sping rides. :frowning: But now I am ready to get out and do some paces. Primarily interested in MA, northern CT or Southern VT.
TIA

I would also go to the various hunt websites for HP’s in your area as well. Not all are listed on the equinesite.
