I see your point and agree that these folks are attention seekers, but it is a true dilemma.
If we don’t speak up when someone continuously projects a horrible representation of our sport, it seems like we agree with them. So, we almost have to speak out, even if it feeds the monster.
I’ve always said, we have to police our own sport. Unfortunately, if someone won’t shut up, we have to continue to speak out. That… or get the duct tape.
Since this thread is really old, we’ll close it to further posts to avoid confusion.
