I have a question, sort of. If’n the MLCs are PhD type doctors, then they cannot afford another horse, even one that is cough cough free. I think only if they are MD type doctors, well past their student loan days, and with DD getting a free ride (hey - where’s she going to school? I went to grad school there! and grew up near there!), and they have a specialty like derm or cardiology and don’t do much pro bono work, then I think they need to get many, many TBs.

Yes, Geek, you get it:lol: We are PhD type doctors and living in the Bay Area. Housing ain’t cheap. Look what a PhD didn’t get me-good grammar:D

DD got into Columbia. DH is from NJ and his parents were MD docs at Columbia Med. I got my PhD from there and DH did his postdoc there so there’s a long family legacy. Now if Grandma would adopt DD, she could go for FREEEEEEEE!!!

Well, the closest I get was dating a 3rd year med student from Columbia P&S. I was at Rockefeller. This was why I had no money for horses - PhD type grad school in NYC, then post doc in Boston.

If only they had the tuition reimbursement they had a few decades ago…what you would be saving on the DDs could have gotten you SEVERAL free TBs. You could have a whole FARM populated by free TBs!

As far as the last point…how about MidLifeReassessment? Or MidLifeLookingForFreeTBs?
