Well the acupuncture went kind of ok… I guess… I was amazed at how well she pegged my horses problem areas without any input from me… She knew he was a bleeder from the track… and that his hocks were a definate issue for him he was mega positive… as in kicking out when she hit that meridian. She started the treatment and he did fine on one side but once she hit his bad side… well evidently he didn’t want his bad Chi removed :lol::lol::lol: He kicked out and knocked over a trash can :eek:. It wasn’t the needles he did fine with the ones in his neck and it was just one side of his back end that was the problem. We’ll give him about 2 weeks and do him again (I’m sure he’ll be thrilled:lol:) to see how he is doing. Massage therapist comes out next week. And my friends husband who’s a vet will inject his hocks next week as well.

Alterlicous turns her pockets inside out getting her horsie tuned up… as horsie lays on the massage table enjoying his pampering.
On a positive note the new farrier came out to do horsie’s feet. And he is a hunk… as well as a damn good farrier!! I’m really really going to enjoy getting my horse’s feet done every month. :yes:

Horsie in a field of flowers
I was just thinking about this as I was riding Paris; I’ve been leasing her for 6 months and 3 days now, and I can’t believe the progress I’ve made with her. When I first rode her, she was bucking at the canter, and she had her head held really high all the time, and was unbalanced. Now she’s going long and low, has a great canter and is very balanced. (It also helps to have big sister to help you along the way.:yes:) It’s amazing the difference you see in a few months!
