HL: Oh they probably got into the costuming again… We haven’t been able to capture Pat yet…

SEPowell: What is that they are throwing at him… money??

HL: Well it is monopoly money… we took their real cash from them as a precautionary measure… Now shall we head on to the hunter jumper ward…

Wasting away again in Parelliville
Searching for my lost khorabi stick
Some people claim that there’s a woman to blame
But I know, it’s all Linda’s fault!

Earworm of The Day, brought to you by RR.
OMG, I HATE you!!!
I haven’t checked this thread in ages and when I finally do, I get hooked by this, this earworm…
Somehow in my mind, the last line goes, “But I know, it’s all Pat’s own damn fault”

Carry on!

I loff this thread.

I dub thee RR Queen of the Earworm… (remember waving it’s elbow elbow wrist wrist:winkgrin:)

OMG-I’ve missed this thread! Parelliville… snort!

Your earworm, your lyrics.

Totally offtopic story: For reasons that are best not gotten into here, I was teaching my 5-year old (human) the words to the Oscar Meyer song. You know, “My bologna has a first name, it’s O-S-C-A-R …” We were singing in the car, repeating it over a few times while he got the hang of it. At about the fourth repetition, my 3-year old (human) rolled her eyes at me and said, “Mum, you’ve got an earworm!”

Indeed.

RR, have you been letting the wee ones on CoTH?

 Never!!

Sure…

WOW. I go away for surgery today and come back to this!! BTW Griffyn is all fine sans gallbladder… A little sore, to be sure…Speaking of earwormish things… As I was wiling away the time in my room waiting for IV and all that somewhere in the background the Price is Right was droning on and on… finally I told the nurse, if I die in surgery, and the last thing I heard is “come on down!!: I WILL come back and haunt you.” The glass doors were quickly shut. I rested peacefully until extraction time.

Glad you are doing ok Griffyn. I would be pretty upset if “Come on down” was the last thing I heard too:lol::lol:

Cool!! My DD had her lesson today and we have been getting many compliments on my horse at my new barn and the improvements in both our riding since we have been there. Everyone says how much they love my horse’s mind and that he is just so honest. Trainer says he has potential to be a 3’ hunter easily since his training is going so well. He is using himself so much better now getting more balanced and seems so much more comfortable. I saw him and his new best friend turned out in the pasture (he is usually on night turnout but they are having camp this week so he is out during the day) and they were so cute. Following each other around grazing nose to nose it was so cute.
You and your daughter have the best time with your horse; I love reading about him and her and you ('scuse the grammar):). So now I know a shows are in his future!

Maria Canela and I are planning to go in an event at the end of August. We went in one at elementary level back in May where she jumped every time she was within 20 feet of another horse who was jumping. It wasn’t a shy, it was a jump over an imaginary jump  She’s a funny character who always feels like she’s saying, “hey, I got a good idea…” This is me after she says that ->

Yes, I know H-L Id much rather hear “come on UP, not come on down!!”

Yup we have fun she gives me a hard time when she watches me ride and I give it right back to her in a fun way. Even after being in the hospital for dehydration DD still wanted to go to her lesson and see her horse since she will be gone for a week. She said she didn’t care if all trainer would let her do was walk she still wanted to go.

I loff the visual of your horse jumping along with the others… kind of like when I watch jumping on TV or watching DD’s lesson and I am two pointing along with her… or attempting to squeeze for her to make up distance, or thinking BEND BEEEENNNND and giving leg to my chair. I feel so stupid when I catch myself doing it :uhoh:. At least your girl is focused and enjoying “practicing” for her turn.

I am constantly amazed when I tell people stories of my guy or others at the barn and they look at me shocked and say “I didn’t know horses have personalities” Well DUH… did you think they were statues or something.:lol:

:lol::lol::lol:

A…

bump post.

HrCp (et al)…bumping is [I]good /I…but it is also a painfree way to practice HSA…
