* (Super-fun horsey stick art!!)

From the twine recycling thread.

Okay this whole thread reminded me of an old Smothers Brothers song.

I hold my pants up with a piece of twine,
I keep my arms wide open all the time,
Because your mine, Please pull the twine.

I Know there is more but these are the lines I remember in the archives that my kids refer to as my mind.

This is a bad mockery of Johnny Cash and Walk the Line. I like this version better.

LC#2 was having trouble with his pants falling down so he used a twine string. I therefor had to sing this to him in my best falsetto voice. The dog ran for cover and my oldest DD tried to disown me.

It couldn’t have been as bad as listening to my tone deaf rhythmless dad sing Tom Petty while running on a treadmill.

Ahem!! Naughty Monkeys are SHOES!!!

Seems like…

we are now going to have to "gown up "to view this thread.
Either paper gown, gloves and mask to prevent the further spread of human strangles or more formal wear so we can don Naughty Monkey shoes.

I want to see Lost Farmer in the Naughty Monkey shoes:D

I used to love watching the Smothers Brothers show.

Anyone want a pair of these shoes???:eek:

Mrs. Lost! Hey Honey I have an anniversary gift for you.

Speaking of Anniversaries… Mrs. Lost and I have #15 in a month. (LF leaves muttering to himself must not buy boots, must buy something more “appropriate.”)

In other news, LC#2 celebrated his 10th birthday. He got (12) 18" traffic cones. He loved them. Now he wants me to keep setting up courses for him to drive. Do you think that was planned.

Giving those boots to Mrs. Lost would be self-gifting.
Did you ever get her the new sewing machine?

Sheets… you need to get her new sheets!! Remember:winkgrin: (The boots can be wrapped in the sheets for later.:lol:

Well, Yes… Sort of. I found a perfect condition machine that is identical to the old one she has loved so much it wore out. I bought it from Ebay for a steal. It was a good thing.

The house is almost ready for reoccupation. The cabinets are in, the tops on, the sinks in, a little more trim to finish, doors to stain, carpet and vinyl on the 29th and 30th, a couple of light fixtures to finish. A back step and a front porch and we will have a house. I love everything about the house but the payment. I am looking forward to having more than one bathroom. I think that is the most exciting thing for me.

Next summer brings the garage, the barn, and the landscaping. Let me rephrase that. Next summer brings the landscaping and some future date will bring the garage and barn.
