That Horse Clicks stallion interests me quite a bit. I have a gelding whose sire was a son of Deputy Minister and a grandson of Seattle Slew, and he is almost a clone of that horse.
This wouldnât work for the OP since the clone wouldnât have jockey club papers which would be required for the offspring to be registered AQHA.
No snark intended, Iâm a bit of a stickler for proper breeding terminology. I assume it is the same for all breeds. I am a Thoroughbred breeder and we are talking TBs.
A mare âthrowsâ good foals. âThat mare throws a good foalsâ
A stallion âgetsâ good foals. âThat stallion gets good foalsâ Thatâs why a stallionâs progeny is referred to as his âgetâ.
lol. I âthrewâ that in just to make sure you were awake and alive
LOL, very good! Glad to see some people around here have a sense of humor
Salute the Truth is unfortunately dead, although there may still be some frozen.
reputed Testamony is deceased but there is a small amount of frozen left. Contact Denny Emerson. My homebred TB mare is by Rep and shes incredible.
as far as Artrageous, he competed some with his current owner and has also foxhunted. I have a mare in foal to him now, have a 4 yo mare by him and also had a fabulous colt by him who broke his leg in a pasture accident at 18 months and had to be put down.
Artys owner posts on coth so ill send her over.
I forgot to add Noble Houston. I know he had been sold back in '10 or '11. Does anyone know where, or if, he is standing?
This comment was brought to my attention as I donât generally read the forums anymore, but I had to correct this statement.
Artrageous never had a paddock injury and is still quite sound. âIâ as the rider had a pretty serious hip injury in 2008 (which was the last year he competed in eventing) which required surgery and 6 months on crutches with no riding. At the same time, our financial situation changed and we were no longer able to afford to campaign him.
To the OP, he sired twin Appendix hunter babies by ET from one semen shipment two years ago. They are out of Laced in Krymsun - 2 time AQHA World Champion, 1 time AQHA Res World Champion, 2 time NSBA World Champion, 1 time APHA World Champion and a 1 time APHA Res. World Champion. There are pictures of them on Artyâs Facebook page.

He died in June 2016, but he competed very successful in the combined Working Hunter division in Canada, (going from the breeding shed to the show ring, sometimes on the same day!)-
This was a testament to his stellar temperament, as well as his quality, jumping ability and athleticism.
He was also a multiple/many year Champion and Grand Champion TB and Sport Horse stallion shown on the line.
He has produced many offspring who have been successful in the show ring, many ridden by children and amateurs, and some have competed to the highest levels.
For those who study pedigrees, he has one of the strongest TB sport horse pedigrees, 4x4 Nasrullah, 5x5 Princequillo with Royal Charger, Turn-to, Gay Missile (the female family of AP Indy) and including being a grandson of Bold Bidder, the sire of the wonderful Spectacular Bid.
A Fine Romance has a FB page, with many photos of outstanding offspring, and now, grandbabies.
He does have one full TB son, who is handsome, athletic and very kind and level headed. He is not standing to the public this year, instead concentrating on his training and starting his competition career. He may be bred to a small number of mares privately.
His pedigree is exceptional - with A Fine Romance on the top, and Yellow Creek and Avieâs Copy (sire of Rather Well) on the bottom.
He has not been colour tested yet but looks to be black.

Thanks for the correction. A few years back there was a thread on him, and there was a comment there (that didnât come from me) that said he was sidelined due to injury. Was he not the horse in the Practical Horseman issue that had a blurb about the injury?
If Harvest Moon isnât registered with the Jockey Club, can he be used on warmblood mares to get registerable foals?

Fred do you have any info on his son? A contact to get ahold of if he becomes available?
