I owned a OTTB named Hot Time for a few years, he was foaled in Washington in 1988. He was the cutest little daisycutter but he was very sensitive. Sweet and willing to please, he just got nervous easy. He was too much for the lady I sold him to and she donated him to a college riding program to be a dressage horse. Can’t for the life of me remember which college. I’d love to know what happened to him.
Just for giggles, I’d like to add HRH Avery (reg. name Beano’s True Level) and my first-ever OTTB, Opening Night (reg. name Good-oh) to the list. I know Rusty Stirrup has connections w/ Good-oh’s connections, we’ve chatted off-forum, but would loff to meet any others!
And if anyone owns/knows of any relatives of Beano’s True Level, please let me know!
I’d like to add my dd’s new TB Whowrotethatrule (aka Afternoon Tea/ Bailey). She is was never raced and is shown as a hunter in AL.
Hmmm…whatever happened to Jolie’s Thunder and Go bam Bam Go? I have not seen anything on either of these in a couple of years.
I currently own:
Misty Smile ('96 bay mare by Smile)
Dulce Amante ('01 bay mare by El Amante)
Winningthesilver ('03 grey gelding by Silver Ghost)
I had from '99 to '03:
Playful Playboy ('89 bay gelding by Pass the Glass)
Would love to hear from anyone who knew him on the track, I think he had quite a few starts at either Longacres or Emerald Downs (can’t remember which it was back then.)
Also, if anyone knows a horse in NM named Iza Righteous Dude… He’s an '01 bay gelding… I saw him at a sale in CA and contacted the guy who bought him and told him I’d like to buy him when he was done racing… lost track of owner. I think he’s retired now, seems like his last race was in 07. He was a stunning yearling.
I’d love to locate a couple of my mare’s produce. It’s likely they raced and remained in the mid-Atlantic area, probably Maryland. Both won some races.
A Firm Warning (1999, ch gelding)
Land of Miranda (2002, b filly)
Anybody know anything about their whereabouts?
My Beautiful Girl
I would like to add my mare:
Kool Dorala 1994 bay mare Sire: Run To Daylight Dam: Elites The Way
I have owned her the past 5 years
We’re schooling & showing low level dressage.
I believe her sire is still alive and siring a few babies. I was put in contact with his owner
through someone on COTH.
Love this new list!
Thank You, Sweetiebob
I swear I had this horse with me at one point, but I’m drawing a blank on where this was. I think he ended up as a point to point horse??? Does that sound right? Unfortunately, I don’t have any info on his current whereabouts.
I’ve already listed this horse, but going to bump him back up anyway…
Greatsilverfleet… he was a nice horse, ran in the Pimlico Special with Pistols and Roses… last known to be in Canada training to be an event horse… he is old now, I would love to hear that he is still okay!

Through COTH, a very nice person did a story on my horse Grady… she was contacted by the people that had bought him as a yearling and raced him during his early years. (He ran for 9 yrs)… through her they contacted me, as they had lost touch with him and were very concerned about his well being.
They are supposed to fly in from Texas to visit him this summer, as a surprise from the wife, to her husband Grady!
I just loved finding out who my boy was named after![/QUOTE]
OMG I loved Grady when he was racing!! Did you know he beat near Triple Crown winner Real Quiet when he was a two year old?
I’m so glad to learn he’s safe and sound.
I wanted to know if anyone new my horse Stoker, he raced in Ky and Fla I believe Carl Nafzger was his trainer.

Yes, I knew that…LOL… there are some pics of Grady in my profile!
PONYRCR I know Mt. Eden as well. Her American Chance gelding is for sale as a riding horse if you are interested!
I would love to find a little black TB reg. name Ona’s Girl by Thunder Rumbles out of Fatherless foaled 1998? I sold her as a 3 yr old to a hunter/jumper lady and she had a filly in 2001 or 2002?
I had Ona’s Girl from yearling to 3 yrs old.
she was never raced nor in training for races.
my years could be slightly off
Please add
Spencer Road - My beloved mare that I lost to EPM.
And a horse I adored and used to ride. Not absolutely sure of his registered name but I think it was Diligent Nite. When I rode him he was called Sweet William.
Thanks!
I’m sure I’ve known more, just don’t know their JC names… some that come to mind:
Onthecuttingedge
Street Con
Acting Op
One Love One Life
Zebs Game
Hunt City Slew
I had a great TB as a kid. “Stressful Prince” was his JC name, briefly evented by a previous owner as Sky’s The Limit. He was by no Distress out of Donut Princess, by Donut King. We always thought that at least his tragic name could have been worse - Stressful Donut? no idea if he ever raced.
