TB's I Have Known - [FB PAGE STARTED w/ Database!!! - update on 1st post]

Would like to know where or what happened to Austin’s Belle raced in NJ was owned and trained by Edwin Broome. Last raced in 2005. Also Twinkle Toz last raced in 2007 at Charles Town in WV. Is WV bred. I own Twinkle Toz 3 year old sister and Austin Belle’s stakes winning 1/2 brother.

Anyone know anything about Thong View? I’d like to know why he had a year off racing at one point .

I would like to add my 21 year old Tb mare, Lots of Slots by Bet Big. I bought her 17 years ago and I know she raced 7 times but I am not sure where. She then led a full life, hunter, jumper, some dressage and eventing. Jumping was her love till a near fatal injury last year. I was thinking till then she would never retire. She is retired now but the other day I walked her by the ring and she tried to lead me in, LOL. She has earned her retirement and I hope it is a long one.

Is someone still updating this list?

I added a few months ago and they aren’t on there yet. I wish there was a way we could all just add to it ourselves that way one person wouldn’t have to wade through all these posts!

If that doesn’ work, let me know and I’ll copy/paste in a PM.

Wow, yes that is her! Thank you so much. She turned out to be a good jumper, fast and careful. Smart also, and the type that knows your truck and looks for you.

My horse knows the truck and looks for me too. Though I’m not certain whether its me he likes so much, or the peppermints in my pocket.

I wondered also till she had her accident and she spent 11 weeks at NEE. When I visited it reassured her and I knew it was not just the carrots.

My new OTTB is big on whinnying for me. Though in his case, I think it’s either the treats or grain he wants! He doesn’t whinny for anyone else, though, so my ego tells me to believe it’s just because he loves me.

Here is my list of horses I’ve either groomed or galloped. It’s just what I can think of off the top of my head tonight, sure to be updated soon:
Wildwood Coyote, 2002 gelding
Really Big Boy, 2002 gelding
Wildwood Sam I Am, 2001 gelding (I would really like to know if this horse is still alive. He was special.)
Go Gretta Go, 2001 mare (won her last race but broke down and was PTS.)
Run Willa Run, 1999 mare (I desperately wish someone would pull this mare off the track at Fairmount. She is 11 and has a bowed tendon and deserves to retire. She also absolutely hates being at the track and weaves her face raw.)
Proper Sky, 2001 gelding (My personal favorite, went through CANTER IL a few years ago and I lost track of him.)
Chasseur’s Tresor, 1996 gelding
Foxie’s Boy, 2002 gelding
Chipotle, 2001 gelding
Wildwood Royal, 2000 mare
Dale’s Boy, 2001 gelding
Win Won, 1998 mare
Wildwood Firebird, 2001 gelding
Wildwood Europa, 2001 mare
Widespread Panic, 2001 gelding
Keystone Mountain, 2002 (I’d gladly offer this horse a home at any time :))
Alone At Last, 2001 gelding
Lucky Kaye, 2000 mare

First one. Though you may have to hit ‘competition horses’ first. He’s eventing at advanced and CIC*** with Megan Lanzarone in KY.

Can someone add:

Liltoughridinghood
Fabulous Impulse

I lost touch with them and want to make sure they are okay… Breeder of Liltoughridinghood who I believe is still in Oklahoma - hopefully a broodmare at this point. Bought Fabulous Impulse as a yearling, sold him as a hunter at 3 (formal training and never had raced), that owner resold him and the new owner either sold him or sent him to race herself - he ended up at Woodbine (from FL), and finally broke his maiden for $10K and I have not been able to find him since. Just want to make sure he landed in a good place - beautiful, kind horse…

Anyone know what ever happened to the racers I either broke, or galloped in the late 70s, early 80s? Might not have the spelling right on some, that was a long time ago!
Noble Rainbow (loved him!)
Tazlago (ACK! tough!)
Otober Hill (fast, good, and mean as a snake)
Insensate (sweet, beautiful, fast)
You Don’t Know (big mare, was a broody later?)
Render Fleet (sweet guy, easy)
Horrocco (ACK!)
Standard Contract (my little Inky!)
Narrow Eyes
Bear Coat (actually… died in barn fire…)
Picnic Fare Jr. (super sweet, I loved him)
Come Sail Away (sweet, gorgeous)
Mann’s Sister (hardest mare I ever galloped)
A Cute Titan (Loved this one - wish I had 10 of him)
Afternoon Clem (the less said here, the better…)
Mr. Bob C (Wooley bear!)
Reliable Pete (hope he was used in stud!)
Last Injury (whew! Tough!)
Last Cut (my favorite filly)
Five Wounds (another tough nut)
Play with Pain (see above)
Songs of Pain (easiest 17+hand gallop I ever broke/galloped)
Naked Head (easy)
Chief Tia (a real challenge)
Sweep The Heights (nice big mare)

That’s all I can think of right now, there were tons more. Wish I could remember all the registered names.

I met the love of my life 6 weeks ago - Tucson Magic.

He was raced in AZ and evented after leaving the track, but now he and I are pairing up for dressage. I absolutely adore this horse!

“Last Injury (whew! Tough!)

Well, those certainly are optimistic names

May I add?

Heidi’s Runner (Tim) RIP my best friend.
Windon Tide RIP my dear childhood friend
Tyrone’s Terms (with me now)
Fireside Drive
Shinin’ Marv
Sir Wickley
Maisie’s Bo

Just bought one at Penn National, so I’m going to put her on this list

Suzanneslittlekiss

Beacon of Truth

I’m bumping this up, since I have received a few PMs about it. Please see the very first post which has the Website with the Master List.
