I don’t know if it’s puppies or not. Can’t be no human. 5 inches round and crowing???

Ummmm, I think that’s “five centimeters and crowning” which means that if this is indeed a human someone is in a world of “discomfort” right now. I know. I’ve birthed three. No meds. It hurts, darn it!

I do think at a huge venue like Spruce Meadows where 30,000 or more people would be watching Anky, including some pretty influential sponsors, it can only be good for the visibility of the sport. She entertains. Sponsors like to be entertained. And yes, I do place importance on sponsorship for shows because I have watched what the Southerns have done with Spruce Meadows over the last few decades. Wouldn’t it be something to have a top quality tournament in dressage in Canada like the three that Spruce puts on for Jumpers? It would be cool!

>>>Your boy is beautiful, however, he is quite on the forehand, and his back end is not as forward as his front legs are behind, which means that he is not working up as well as he could be. The rider is also perched forward which could also will contribute to the horse being forehandy.

Wow, you are a tough crowd to please. To everyone who has made criticisms of this horse, PLEASE remember that he is ONLY 4 years old. Also, he is a big, rangy horse. Of course, you can’t have perfection at this stage. Please give this talented rider and nice horse a break, would you. There is more to praise about this horse/rider combination than to dis. If you have better pictures, please do post.

suzy’s, er, gasp gag choke, right. You can only be a true DQ if you have the perfect body. Other’s need not apply–until they have completed their reconstruction with a plastic surgeon.

Hey Robbirox! Canada Sucks!

Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!!

that was interesting. Hands without legs/legswithout hands is a method my last coach used to get horse more responsive to forward aids. I do notice from the masterclass photos that ‘deep’ appeared to be the remedy for all the horses, didn’t see any not ridden deep.

HEY, I just report what i see and make no comment on these things being right or wrong (HAHA, my new signature line)

You are on three tracks, as opposed to two tracks, when the legs are moving in a specific direction and the one behind is following the tracks of the ones in front. So, when you are doing shoulder in, you are on three tracks since there is a clearly defined “track” that the leading fore is on, one for the outside foreleg and inside hind and the last is for the outside hind.

That’s my definition.

It’s all about ME, ME, ME!!! (The only signature worthy of a real DQ.)

I have actually been looking for an excuse to use this word - and got to say it as a way to end a silly and too long phone conversation. I just said - “I don’t have time for this Perisflage” - which pretty much shut the other person right up! hehehe. m
