Kim - is it Mary Pagone’s series - Fortune’s Fool? I highly recommend her (free with Kindle Unlimited, too!)…there’s also Natalie Reinhart’s series’that are great, too.

IT should still be there, hit reply and a little yellow message above the box says to restore old content?
I have had it work for me. Try it.

No it is Natalie Reinhart’s. I love her. But now I have another, will check out mary Pagones. Thanks for that.

OH My God!! Can you imagine, talk about oblivious! That would have been scary to see. I can only think they did not get fried because the thing was on a trailer with wheels, and a truck was pulling the trailer?? Just a thought.
Still scary. and dumb!! LOL

Kim, since your taste is changing, would you like more honey pops? I’ve been told they are restocked and need to pick some up.

Scierra, I just have no taste for sugar, Sad but true… And I still have several in a jar on the counter.
I love you for thinking of me, but I think I am good. ((((HUGS)))))

The best sandwiches are messy, the best food is messy!

Haven’t seen any fawns this year, but the last deer I saw caused me much anxiety. The barn has just put in a new Dressage arena, and the far end has a low bank, where they piled the soil while levelling. Beyond that there is a patch of long grass and small bush, then the grass arena. The Wonder Horse and I were having our first lesson out there, with a visiting instructor, when Madam decided that the A end by the bank was just to scary to get near. We battled for a while, then we decided that we would work at the C end. Just got her settled and working, when a deer burst out of the cover, sounded like a herd of Wildebeest heading out…The Wonder Horse was not happy… I was so glad to see an actual monster, also very glad that the next time out there she was as good as gold.

OH wow, well tell her that I have never read horse books where I feel like I am there, and everything is so spot on.
I am done with 4… Aghh… I might not be around for her next one!!
I will have to make a special effort. Seriously she is excellent!! So many things she writes I can relate to personally.
As I am sure most horsey folks can.

Man you can take this heat wave. UGH… I do not know how people in florida stand it, I mean we do not get this too often, but it seems we are in for a stretch.
I suppose like anything you get used to it.
Lawn guy came this evening, super nice young guy, with his wife…
They work together. He knows his stuff and knows about not cutting too short, and will trim and do whole front yard,
for 30 dollars?? to me that is worth it.
Yes he is cute, and so polite, and said he was sorry he could not get back here till monday. he was swamped,
I said I do not doubt it, since you return phone calls!
Stryder, what can I say. What great things. I am afraid The chocolate, while it is probably great is in the fridge.
I LOVE the almond Salt one, well at least I used to…
And the other goodies, were too sweet. Love the candle, and the other ā€œItemā€ nice idea.
((((HUGS)))))
Still no maters! :frowning:

You’re welcome! The chocolate will wait until your tastes change, or you want to give it away.
You said you love driving out in the morning, and I hoped the scent would refresh you on mornings you don’t go.

As for the other … I am always on the prowl for helpful things… Hope it’s helpful.

Kim, how is your pain level? Are you staying comfortable? Any plans for the fourth?
I must admit that the Fourth is my least favorite holiday, because all of the neighborhood kids setting off fireworks makes me nutty. Hopefully your annoying neighbors across the street won’t do the same!

Doing pretty good PKP. Surprisingly. My plans for the 4th are for it to be the 5th:lol:
I hesitate to say anything, but so far this year, it is no… I can’t say it. I will just jinx it.
IT is so stinking hot and humid that unless you are in the water or in the air conditioning, Yuck!!
I pray for cloud cover because with the sun out you cannot do squat.
Did I used to show in this heat?? I know when I was in my 40s, I had been known to scratch from Dressage shows because, well no 1 Dollar piece of satin and a paper saying how you did was with it!:winkgrin:

Jingling for a cool down for you. I KNOW…the crazy (as we deem them now) things we did when we were younger. I remember showing at the Arab shows in my 20s. 105 degrees (thankfully we don’t have the humidity) in 5 or 6 classes…western, English and costume! Seemed to finish fresh as a daisy  and do it all again in a couple weeks. NOW…my sentiments are exactly yours…it ain’t worth it:no:. I am quite the weather weenie in my old age. Luckily, June has been delightful here. Mostly 70s and 80s with the occassional 1 day… yes 1 day…of 90+ then back in the seventies. My kind of weather. July will change that as we hit the 90’s and above but I sure enjoyed June.

Glad and you are feeling relatively well and jingling it continues.

Yes We were tougher then Susan, LOL
It had been really great weather until this stint of hot and humid,
Ah well, That is always why I like Michigan, Don’t like the weather, wait, it will change! LOL:winkgrin:

Sunday Morning Update. I hate to Jinx things, but feeling good yesterday and last night and today.
Today was a Dex day, Take one every other day. And I was not anxious to take it. I did. Had not taken any ibuprophen since 11 am yesterday morning. If I do not need it I don’t take it.
Slept well, longer than usual. Was up at 5. and watered all the flower beds with Miracle grow and weeded around the trees in the front. Shady, but was still sweating when I finished. The dang humidity.
Basically doing what they do in Mexico, Siesta in the afternoon.
And if I was a horse and you were cleaning my stall, and I had been a bit not right, well lets just say If I did not know better I would say there was nothing wrong. Totally surprised me.
God I never thought I would get excited about a thing like that.
Not much else to tell. Docs appointment tomorrow at 2:30 to ask his opinion of things and see what he thinks of me staying on the dex.
Tuesday is farmers Market day, and dang it there HAS to be tomatoes out now. They love the warm humid nights for ripening. Have a quiet Sunday friends, Kim:)

You’re a better woman than I am. I got up, made coffee and sat down on the porch swing which is in the shade and started sweating. Lol I decided the humidity must have been 100% and that I will attempt to mow this evening.

I’m glad the yard guy is cute, nice and knows his stuff. It will be nice not to have to worry about it and the added benefit of cute!! Lol

I haven’t had any tomatoes either. Not that count.

Yesterday I went to Dover for equishure and it happens to be at Tryon Equestrian Center, where WEG is going to be.

Ugh, it was hot, sticky and there is so much construction going on what should’ve been an hour ride turned into a 2hr drive back.

I did watch a little of the pony shows they had going on but it was hot.

I’ve decided that if beach and Florida temps are going to be the norm here now that I want the breeze that is down there

I’m so glad you’re feeling good and not having much pain. That is a huge blessing!!
