Does shipping a horse to Hell and back to run him sound humane? Does bringing a horse from Dubai to Chicago to run on a bad cannon bone sound humane? . BHC me & Tori raced on same circle for years!! I have trained & owed race horses 40 years myself. & raced in 26 states!! Tori is a good Horsemen!! It says in Blood horse CC will race in 2016. That was agreement Taylor Made Farm made with the POS Perry Martin!! So that’s not good news!! CC won’t stand stud till 2017!!! So no telling with that Jack Ass Perry Martin calling the shots what ordeal CC will be put Through! Sickening!! Martin wants to get every dime out of the Poor Guy!! Greedy Ass POS!! He doesn’t give a Damn about CC!! That’s why The Colburns wanted out!! Didn’t want to deal with the Ass Perry Martin and what he has put CC through!! Had to be a Very Sad moment for him & his wife!! That’s a Dream of a Lifetime to every own a Horse like that!!

They’re all stupid idiots. Do they really think someone like Steve Coburn could have negotiated a deal with Taylor Made which not only also a possible 5yo career, but keep the horse in the U.S. (and in Kentucky no less)? Instead it’s still more Martin hating, and insisting he’s “greedy” when it was the Coburns who took the money and ran after insisting they were oh so mistreated.

That’s the thing. She is/was a trainer. She would have seen the care of an average racehorse first-hand, and in all likelihood she has seen the kind of care a horse like CC would get. I can’t find anything to repudiate that she worked with Secretariat. If true, she would know first-hand! It blows my mind that she has these kind of opinions after apparently working around horses for so long, especially one like Secretariat. What alternative race plan would these computer trainers have for Chrome?!

I’m going to take a wild guess that maybe one of her horses was involved in a horrible accident that turned her off of racing forever, or something along those lines.

I’m glad that running Chrome next year is being considered. Sounds like things have calmed down with the Coburns out of the picture (were they paid off with a gag order)? If the vitriol continues perhaps BCH will receive a message from Taylor Made saying that they have a wonderful team of lawyers ready and waiting.

I also saw that BCH “likes” “Trump for 2016.” :eek:

What seems to escape you is the fact that CC shipped HURT for the express purpose of RACING!

This is her argument for animal cruelty. I have no idea where she came up with the idea of him being shipped while injured. He certainly wasn’t injured heading to Dubai, or even to England. He was mildly injured before a race, and then shipped home (after being cleared I would imagine) to recuperate. Again

Those of you creating fake accounts, can you also try to explain to them that this “money grubbing pos” Perry Martin is fitting all the bills on this horse?!?! But he is all about money and keeping the horse racing next year just proves he is in it for the money. I am thinking that if he retired him and let’s be generous and give him a stud fee of $20,00 and he covers 100 mares that is a pretty penny. Obviously, more than what the horse is making him now since he is laid up for the rest of the year.

I think it is funny that Martin is the bad guy and Coburn the sainted victim in this saga. I wouldn’t know Martin if he was standing in front of me but Coburn made such a jack wagon out of himself that I will never forget his mug. I thought it was especially funny when BCH mentioned something about Martin “fans” and how they are evil too. Do owners really have fans?!
