The "Bring Chrome Home" crowd is batty, but...

Bring Chrome Home Was there for that one… I think it was the first time Chrome ever had mud on him… poor baby. they pinned him in pretty good.

Debbie Spila Liberty They sure did. Broke my heart.

Marie Hoffman Johnson A day I will never forget, being so close to Chrome, it was like he knew I called his name, he stopped and looked right me, and of course all I could do was cry

:concern::disillusionment::lol:

Alan Sherman is in KY for the yearling sale and stopped to see Chrome at TM when he arrived. Think the BCHers will give him a piece of their minds if they see him on Fan Day (whatever few brain cells they can spare)?

If BCH comes here and is taking questions, I’d still like to ask why they say gross, insulting curse words about P Martin and then go to his website for info? And why don’t they post the same nasty comments they do on BCH when they go to TM’s site? Not a peep out of their innocent little mouths on their thoughts about plans for Chrome’s future. And why do they take down every comment people post that they don’t like???

It’s curious to see a Forest Bird photo of Victor taken at the Sherman barn on the BCH website – I can’t say that Kat ever supported BCH before.

I’d also hope to thank them for their part in the Shermans’ FB site going down because of their personal insults to Art’s daughter who ran the page.

Well done Laurierace!

They haven’t found my insult yet hehehe. Tucked it in right under the COTHer who explained that all horses travel in “horrible metal boxes”.
I’m pretty certain I see it! I laughed and couldn’t believe it was still up just now! LOL

Well boo! I can see you reply but my photo and reasoning for the “horrible metal boxes” is gone  Not banned…yet lol!

Yes, Blumeroo, isn’t that the weirdest thing? They’d prefer an insult rather than facts. I was VERY surprised to see yours gone and mine still there. Maybe she is so blithely convinced that she WILL be hugging Chrome, she wants to leave mine there to rub my nose in it after the fact?

Well, POOH. When I posted pics a while ago of top level horses (with far better credentials than darling Chromie) traveling overseas in “horrible metal boxes” - I was told that I was covering up for Martin, my post was deleted - AND I was banned.

Those pesky facts again…

Here you are , folks. https://www.facebook.com/Bring-Chrome-Home-1570761706515184/timeline/

The photoshopped picture of CC “with” Secretariat is hilarious, despite being pasted in the foreground with Secretariat some distance away, CC is positively dwarfed by the big horse. He looks like a Large Pony…

Guess she/they are PO’d CC won’t be making appearances nationwide at the infrequent quality races for older horses “so all his fans can see him” opting for a single effort for a chance at much, much bigger purse $$$. Wonder if they realize it is a business and the few fans that would actually show up to see him in some grade II Stakes race aren’t going to be booking any mares to him or buying syndicate shares should they become available as opposed to showcasing him in Dubai.

Might get wet at TM, might be raining.

The BCH group of drama llamas never cease to amaze me. They are just… so odd…

Can someone explain how this silly BCH person, who knows nothing about horses or racing, came to be the ringleader of this circus? Are they an adolescent? That would explain some of the drama.

Ms BCH is asking those attending the TM Fan Days to ‘respectfully’ bring up the fact that they want to keep Chrome on American soil, where he SHOULD be. I bet TM will LOVE that! I wonder who will be the one to express that desire??? Maybe they should add the woman who is arranging a protest demonstration possibly at Santa Anita, or bring up that they would like to buy Chrome by pooling their $$$. Ms BCH also now calls Art Sherman Chrome’s ‘great friend’ – only days ago she was ranting her wrath about Art Sherman announcing the Dubai plan for 2016. The BCH folks have no idea how close Chrome came in the past to going to Japan.

It’s unreal how they also crow on about Chrome’s photo in Gallop magazine – Fan Day attendees will be able to purchase copies. They babble on about how good he looks in the photo – yet that was taken in the UK before Chrome left for the US – and displays the slender physique BCHers rail on about that they feel is skinny and horrible.

Another of the usual suspects is praying for a miracle that Chrome is unable to race at all and should then stay permanently at TM or CA. Truly sick.

You are in good company…

The person stating she was organizing a protest at Santa Anita claims to be the Coburns’ very good friend. Staging a protest to spoil Chrome’s day.

Cover up. Lol. They sound paranoid.

The person stating she was organizing a protest at Santa Anita claims to be the Coburns’ very good friend. Her facebook identity is Kerri Farrands and shows pictures of herself, Chrome and her toddler on BCH (toddler & stallion risky behavior to say the least). As a matter of checking on this I saw her photos on Coburns’ Chrome & possibly Hope fb pages. A couple posted by the Coburns. I understand how exciting it might be for someone to get noticed because they know a Derby winning horse owner… but the whole situation does not smile on racing.
She and her toddler have been in the race paddock with them and were treated very well by the Shermans when she visited Chrome on his birthday. Hopefully, now that the Coburns have no claim to Chrome, she will be nixed from coming to the Los Alamitos barn in the future (unless she wants to start her protest demonstration there)!

Thanks for the insight!

Secretariat is Chrome’s sire, duh. It says so right in the comments.

I thought you were kidding. I apparently have a lot to learn.
