The "Bring Chrome Home" crowd is batty, but...

Secretariat is Chrome’s sire, duh. It says so right in the comments.
That comment made me snort coffee! Ow!

Is there no end to their lunacy?

:lol::lol::lol::lol:
I seriously nearly snorted greek yogurt out my nose when I read that comment. Time to back awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay from the crazy for the night!

And BCH actually liked it. :uhoh:

Took a while but Secretariat finally sired a Derby winner many, many years after his death.

And - hint to Ms. BCH, if she lurks here - that Derby winner was NOT named California Chrome.

I’m not capable of complicated arithmetic, but I’d love to see the math on how that actually breaks down.

While in the UK, Chrome was kept on Hamilton Road at Chestnut Tree Stables under Rae Guest (where the many stables line the walk to the gallops and in the shadow of the race course).

To those BCH fans who claimed that the English are not capable of caring for Chrome – https://www.facebook.com/BANAMINE1/videos/10152943486309343/
Dear God… they should have left him there. Wow, that is heaven on earth.

Hey, maybe someone should start a satirical facebook page - “Send Pharoah to NewMarket”

well clearly it would be in his best interest to get him far away from crazy facebook/internet stalkers!

Consider yourself banned hater.

I’ve been to Newmarket and the Jockey Club – and you would be PROUD to have your horse in training there. When the exercise sessions are over for the morning (signs to give advice about the conditions/rules for the day are posted), the locals who own pleasure horses in the area may ride the outside perimeter – fantastic.

The BCH group of drama llamas never cease to amaze me. They are just… so odd…

Can someone explain how this silly BCH person, who knows nothing about horses or racing, came to be the ringleader of this circus? Are they an adolescent? That would explain some of the drama.
If Chrome did not have the recognizable ‘freckle’ on his white blaze face, I wouldn’t be surprised if the BCHers would walk right past him and not realize who he is.

Banned twice. I win.

ROFLMAO
Genius…

BCH is posting videos and photos of the first of the Fan Days. The announcer is mentioning how much Perry Martin LOVES the horse – you can almost hear the blood boiling – but no one telling him from the crowd how they want Chrome to ‘stay home where he belongs.’

Commenter below the photos, Leah, describes where the colt was in the UK as ‘a hell hole.’ Guess she missed the video of Newmarket. Tsk! Tsk!

Someone needs to enlighten the Sheikh (as he has one of the largest yards on the edge of the gallops there). Rumor has it that he was interested in Chrome when the colt was there.

They are so hung up on weight lost and gained. Obviously they have no idea how much a horse can gain or lose in a day.

Anybody catch Chrome’s expression in the photo of the lady petting him on Fan Day?

I know they probably just happened to catch him that way, but it did give me a little giggle. “Go away, god.”

It looks like they were allowed to touch him though. TM was quite generous!

You read my mind…

Personally, I would hope they don’t let the masses all handle him. If someone gets one of his quick-nips in, it could put a halt to that activity.

BCH poster, Jeff Chandler, still insists that Chrome ‘looks sad.’
