I’m honestly not trying to be snarky, but I just do not get the fanaticism surrounding this horse.
Well none of them got bit by their beloved…what’s that saying…God protects children and idiots…

I tire of these people. It just bothers me that there are a couple of thousand members , some of which who may be swayed by these folks odd ideas.
Well, I imagine at least half joined just to keep up with their hilarity, it is a good show.
I only joined as I wanted see the crazies in action.

I don’t understand my own wrath at the ignorant gits on BCH. I guess it’s down to ‘being banned’ unfairly for no legit reason and the hypocrisy of their attitude toward Martin, Sherman, etc – and that some of them follow up with name-calling personal emails (when no one was attacked themselves in the process). I don’t see how they have 2,000+ followers, but they get their message across to some.

It is scary. I figured maybe they’d jump on the AP bandwagon after he won, but thankfully I guess they do not like him because he did not have “humble beginnings.”
It is a staggering display of ignorance. The poster who threatened to picket at Santa Anita jumped all over another poster who dared point out that Chrome is too fat and unfit to race right now.
They love posting links to racing websites like BH, etc. If they’d ever bother to READ some of those websites, instead of just cherry-picking for information on CC, they might get a little education. But oh heavens no, those pesky facts.
Oh and don’t forget how he is emotionally not healed because he isn’t sticking out his tongue and what was the word…oh razzing…his handler.
Um he is a year older, he is handled by stud handlers who are less likely to allow that and he isn’t racing fit. He is not emotionally scarred and unhappy. Ugh…
Have trouble posting the latest, but now there is a huge kerfluffle regarding a Facebook page called Chromies Paddock saying nasty things about the Shermans, boo hoo hoo. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
Good for a chuckle in the ongoing angst of Chromeland.

The BCH admin posts photos and info from other sites. When these other sites complain about use of their intellectual property FB takes the material down. None of the other sites wish to be associated with BCH.

I find it incredibly odd myself.
A good horse, but he wasn’t even the best of his crop.
In the grand scheme of things he is an average G1 horse.
He was very impressive early on, i.e first half of his 3yo season, I will give you that. But the rest of the crop caught up to him, and some surpassed him. He is one of a plethora of horses to have won the first two legs of the TC. So what makes him so super special, I don’t really understand the fanaticism.
We just had a TC crown winner this year, yet AmPh doesn’t seem to inspire those levels of craziness.
Next Sunday a filly named Treve is going to attempt to do something incredible, a three peat in the Prix de l’Arc. You hear barely hear a whimper.
Maybe we all just should follow the song from Frozen…and Let it go…
Because he has sane connections who pretty tightly control information and access, IMO
Seems that not one of the BCHers who attended the Fan Days brought up to the TM management while there that they wanted to express their views Chrome should be retired (or at least not race overseas). What a perfect missed opportunity, and one that they claimed they would do while in KY. Even die-hard fan Diana P while there for all three days failed to even bring the subject up. Tsk! Tsk!
The BCH administrator writes as if she ‘has the ear of Art and Alan Sherman’ by stating that the two trainers will disassociate themselves with another Chrome site when she points out to them all the negativity there. Is she serious? Art’s daughter closed down their FB site partly because of those offenders. (That woman really needs to find better ‘sources.’)
She also relates that her photos of Alan Sherman (with Chrome snapped this last week in KY) had to be ‘deleted’ from BCH because they are from a website connected with a friend of Alan Sherman’s and was told to remove them. (She doesn’t mind because ‘they were not that good’ – but she was proud of them when she had them up on BCH). If she ‘has the ear’ of the Shermans, why does she think that she was asked to take them down from BCH?
Ms. Farran’s latest maylay delves into the ownership of the “CP” site and accuses Mr. M of paying this “witch”. Either she or her BCH admin buddy was so embarrassed by her own description of the Martin injustice that three or four of these factual posts (written perhaps after a night of special ladies club drinks) were deleted. So much for their own belief in what they put to the public on the BCH forum. Reads like the Belmont tirade over and over again fanned by the administrator. Very entertaining.
On a different Chrome site, the Karri girl (who earlier put the call out for BCHers to join her in organizing a protest demonstration about Chrome’s possible future racing schedule) is yakking how she can’t wait to attend Santa Anita in a couple of weeks. Does that mean she is still planning her protest? How do they dream it up?

A following ‘reply’ inquires if she is still planning to hold that activity. Her answer will be interesting, or will it go by the same route the advised ‘respectful request’ to the BCHers attending the TM Fan Days to bring up their opinion to retire Chrome? In other words, NOWHERE.
It’s a shame for this wonderful horse. Now things are getting really messy. On that other site someone said that while this person is picketing at Santa Anita someone should be picketing Ms. F’s place of employment. Does not sound good at all.
Sound like a bunch of 12 year olds. Thinking that I’m finished popping in for a fun distraction. Total waste of time.
How many "Chrome " sites are there? Don’t answer that.
What a bunch of silliness. These people really are intellectually incapable of doing any real damage to anyone but themselves.
The majority of race horse owners and trainers don’t yack all over facebook slinging mud like the (minority) owners of CC did or make fools of themselves on national television after a TC race. The minority owner started the crazy and unfortunately left the others to deal with the mess after they sold out their share to TM.
Thankfully most (not all but most!) owners and trainers have the sense to shut up and deal with issues in a more mature manner.
The folks that might not have realized this before, now have only to look at the crazy on the BCH page to realize what the public leveling of accusations and airing of disagreements will get you…
It’s unfortunate that Art’s daughter was intimidated so much to the point that the original website was ended. And that is what the crazies miss. I guess when people like that are given an inch, they take a mile… No good deed goes unpunished.
