The Daily Dumb

I don’t think so, but anything is possible at this point. I’m expecting a tiny velociraptor and will be disappointed if it’s anything but.

Probably a Malinois puppy then lol

Pretty much the same thing, so yeah, I’d be content with that. Maybe the screeching is the owner hollering every time the malligator puppy bites him.

Oooo we might be getting close with this sound…

But it’s so consistent every single time and it NEVER SHUTS UP that it makes me think bird still. I will find out shortly…

Hmmmm, pigs are loud they also make a vocalization that sounds like “BOOOOFFF” when surprised. Almost like the wind got knocked out of them .

The bottle baby goats we raised grew up to make some rather , uh, demanding noises that didn’t sound particularly goat-like, too.

Strong possibility there!

Would a pig scream for hours at a time? Or, like all day?

I thought of those screaming goats, too. Same question - scream all day?

I don’t know much about pigs, but my ex’s brother kept half a dozen breeding sows (the eating type of pig) and their piglets at his house. They weren’t particularly noisy unless someone was handling them as far as I recall. My past boarding barn keep two big pigs (neutered males I think of the pot belly variety) and they were never noisy. Those were all kept in “paddocks” though with friends. Maybe a solitary pig or in a small pen would be noisier though

The pigs not as much. Our goats did. Or at least it seemed like it! If I tried to turn them out in the big pasture they stood at the gate bellowing for me until I came back to rescue them from the horror of acres of tasty weeds. Lol

Thanks. I’d never heard of them.

The hunter barn has neighbors with guinea. I didn’t think it possible to capture how truly annoying they are. This video manages to do just that. Lol. They stroll around in a posse like they own the place. At least it desensitizes the horses!

Could it be a caged cockatoo?

Mine never got over them. The neighbors let them wander and they terrified my horses.

@endlessclimb I hope recon went safely!

Neighbor had a Macaw parrot that made a repetitive God awful noise like you’re describing. He also peppered in F___ You lol

Neighbors - since moved away – had wallabys and lemurs. The latter were incredibly loud, making howling noises that sounded like a zombie alien invasion – and we live roughly 3/4 mile away!

It wasn’t all day every day, though, just truly immense noise multiple times daily at feeding times. People who lived nearby hated them, and I can imagine why. Goggle lemur sounds, and imagine a number of them making that racket at once. The sound was so loud, and carried so far, it must have been painful to live next door, or across the street.

A roommate of mine in college pet sat a cockatoo whose entire vocal repertoire consisted of “Hello” and loudly wolf whistling
