This sounds great! Congrats to getting out of that crazyness of a barn!

Anything is better than where you are now.

Here’s a funny one- had sinus surgery today and the first memory I have coming out of anesthesia is telling my poor nurse to sit up and get her moving forward. I was teaching a lesson…

I was the Dumb one yesterday.

It all happened in under a second.

Going around a curve in the car I suddenly realised the truck coming in the opposite direction had things on my side making it wider than it’s side of the road.

I reacted immediately. I made my self thinner. I put on the inside aides so much I actually bent sideways a little. Elbow, shoulder, hip.

The car did not move over.

The truck did not hit the car, but boy it was close. I would say it missed by Millimetres. Oh well missing by a mm is the same as missing by a kilometre

Were you driving in France?
Just kidding.
There it is a chicken game, who will pull to the off side, who will be brave enough to hog the road without blinking, at eyebrow blowing speeds.

Ah yes. I have done that. And wondered why my half halts and inside aids did not change car’s progress.

@SuzieQNutter I have attempted to leg yield my vehicles over multiple times. Doesn’t work even though I thought I had enough outside rein, lol. This always happens on the way home from riding after working a long day.

My tractor won’t listen to whoa and we plowed right thru a fence. :see_no_evil:

My bike is the worst. It never listens to my voice commands, neither does it yield to the leg - despite of all the patting and praising I do! Sometimes it even switches the speeds on its’ own accord! I might have to send it away for training - would 90 days suffice?

When I came out of anesthesia, I told my nurse I was worried I would miss my horse’s birthday. Equestrians.

Sanford sends card and the nurses said they hoped I didn’t miss my horse’s birthday. :relaxed:

My husband about 2 weeks ago. We had planned to go pick up some hay but then I noticed that one of my horses, Spud, was almost 3 legged lame. So of course I went out there to check him out and see what I could do for him. I looked him over from stem to stern and couldn’t find anything amiss but gave him some bute, packed his foot with Magic Cushion in case he was sore from being shod (he has extremely flat soles), and hoped it wasn’t more serious. While I’m doing this, my husband says “I thought you wanted to go get hay.” I had to actually tell him my horse was a little more important than going to get hay right that minute. He wisely shut up and waited for me to get done tending to Mr. Spud.

When you log into your bank account certain it is pay week, and it isn’t until next week…oops. :man_facepalming: :joy:

Send it to a cowboy, but first I’d test for Lyme’s and KS.

Not to be obnoxious, but it’s Lyme disease, not Lyme’s, because it was first recorded in Lyme, CT.

Hey, if it’s obnoxious to help me not sound like a goober, that’s a risk I’ll take! Living down south I always heard “Lyme” and then heard it differently up here on the PNW. Good to know.

Try turmeric and some omeprazole, too.

Gas is expensive ok??? :rofl::rofl:

Cars that run on hay, what an interesting idea.

How many miles a bale? :star_struck:

I think hay is just as expensive as gas, lol! Probably no savings!
