The Maestro has written another book

Because she didn’t actually buy the book from Amazon?, I wonder.

That’s what I figured. It was a “promotional” copy from his personal stash. Maybe they’re friends on FB or DH?

The timing of Bettina’s glowing review with that of our book club talk seems remarkably coincidental.

And reminiscent of other glowing reviews in tone: I read cover to c9ver, I couldn’t put it down, I felt your pain, I too have been traumatized by barn owners and trainers all my live long day, and I too am having a photo moment with the book between my thumb and forefinger.

Bettina Wise should invite Nick out there for a clinic if she truly wants to support him.

Hey, Nick! Have you told Bettina you would do a free clinic for her so people in her area can see what a superb trainer/teacher you are?

In other news, this thread currently has 73.2K views. Shame on all of you for having NP have to check this thread 35K times just to see how you feel about lawnmower dressage. After all, he is outstanding is his field.

See what I did there? Shoot me now!

I would also be interested the next time a copy is available. I’ve invested so much time lurking on this thread I might as well read the book!

I will wait to read it until I am drinking again  I think it calls for cardboardeaux with a fine Scotch ready to sub in…

That, and you have to read it in a bathrobe.

J-Lu, I just made DH a bathrobe/Hef jacket entirely from Crown Royal Reserve bags lined with a scrumptiously soft fabric. I think NP would be green with envy, so I will wear an RBG collar with it :innocent: if you think that will fulfill the requirement?

No, no, that does not fulfill the requirement. WAYYYYYY too fancy and thought out for Nick! You made it? That shows too much skill. TOO much skill. Nope. Crown Royal Reserve bags? Too much taste. Lined with a super-soft fabric? No no no no. While it sounds amazing, you’re getting the whole bathrobe thing wrong.

You honestly need to go to a large chain store and purchase a bathrobe for reading the book. That is the kind of bathrobe Nick thinks we are wearing and would likely put you in a better frame of mind reading his book. Reading the book in the likes of the bathrobe you described wouldn’t get you past Chapter One. You’d think “why am I wasting my time???” Think of yourself being more “in character” to finish the book and understand Nick with a cheap bathrobe. You’ll understand more when you read it…

I’ve been lurking here forever too and my curiosity is also clouding my better judgement. Is it the one copy floating around? Can I get added to the list after you by chance??

I don’t live in a basement, but I do have a bathrobe!

May I suggest the Maestro’s book is more worthy of a Goodwill bathrobe?
Preferably one with cigarette burns.

I’ve got a copy, I think @J-Lu called dibs next?

I dunno, this whole thing makes me think of this guy—is he in a bathrobe, too?

I see what’s happening here!

Nick’s book is taking on Plan 9 From Outer Space status. Just like the movie, people want to experience “Behind the Bit” to see if it’s as wildly inept as they’ve heard.

Oh, no, you can’t equate Nick to George III!

(Besides that costume cost a FORTUNE to make.)

I('d be very happy to torture myself again and then send it to @axl. Like when my grandmother read the Amityville Horror, I’ll keep it face down in my house.

Anyone remember the episode of Friends where Joey was reading The Shining?

He kept the book in the freezer because he was afraid of it.
