The Maestro has written another book

I guess I am adverse to happiness, adverse to logic, and just like to roll my eyes.

I’m going to receive @LilRanger’s copy of the book. I wonder if it is the copy I purchased and sent around? I plan to reread it in light of NP’s videos and posts since, and people uncovering the identity of people/horses/barns since I first got it. I seem to be a sucker for punishment. But I can’t help but wonder what his deal is. He’s pro-Trump “America first” and then advocates for hiring Mexican workers to save money. If you’re reading this Nick (I know he sometimes does), you are a totally hypocrite. Please address this point on your lawn mower in the near future.

I will HAPPILY pass it on when I’m done reading it again, and will include cleansing herbs in case the book becomes immune to smudge sticks.

Whaaa? The Beefman’s experience in the horse industry is world renowned, which entails one failed experience as an amateur horse owner. He was so successful as a single horse owner that he had to sell his horse and exit the industry.

Oh, how I’d love another episode of The Lawnmower Monologues!

No no no. Beefman WANTED to exit the horse industry because it was filled with bathrobe-wearing women on their computers in their parents’ basements magically influencing S and above dressage judges. I just performed a ritual to sway the placings of an upcoming event. We do it all the time. We Zoom each other regularly to have drinks and talk about how we influence top judges.

Why would he think people who know the sport would be “proud” of, or impressed with, him? He doesn’t know dressage. He doesn’t get it at all. He’s ignorant of the sport when he attempts to ride it, and he’s ignorant of the sport when he comments on other riders. He doesn’t even make the correct observations. He just parrots what he’s heard other people say, and its not correctly applied when he does. Its just so bizzarre.

It’s so bizarre that it’s STILL going on - he doesn’t have a horse, ride, teach, take lessons, volunteer or compete. He’s not been involved in horses for years now, I can’t understand anyone hanging on so tight to this fantasy world when they’re in their 40s, still pushing the narrative that they “coulda been a contender” if not for the mean girls.

He seems a lucky man with a lovely wife, a few kids, nice house, a supportive family and friends - why isn’t that enough?

If he stopped posting his imaginary equine life on social media and just enjoyed his life, this thread would die and no-one would ever talk about him again - he’d disappear into history - I’m boggled that it’s been YEARS now and he keeps raking over his own coals.

Exactly, of all the online attention seeking, he hit the jackpot when he found horse people. Just keep nudging every now and again, and you stay in the spotlight.

Doesn’t matter that it’s all negative, at least you’re not being ignored, and THAT is what scares him. If you can’t be good at something, make yourself be famous for attacking those who are.

He must truly love COTH, because he has us all so well trained to keep him in the spotlight. He is the ultimate troll for sure.

“very highest dressage movements”

To put it politely…My Aunt Fanny.

Unfortunately Devon didn’t do a deep dive before letting him pay & sponsor a trophy.
Still claims they were celebrating his accomplishments.

Proof that judges were corrupt & his scores were manipulated. Easy enough to prove, just post videos of the entire tests.
Not snippets from warm up.

I’m more than happy to eat crow when I’m wrong.

This would be so fun, if it is the same book you bought.

I wonder if people listed their COTH names before sending it on. Kind of like Flat Stanley but with a -how-to-NOT write a book.

If a self-taught 17-year-old had, in fact, trained an appy cross to the highest levels of dressage, people would indeed be impressed. But what Nick did was train his saint if a horse to shuffle and rear on command. That’s not dressage and the fact he STILL doesn’t know that tells us everything we need to k is about his level of dressage education and skill.

I did say in my post that it was different didn’t I? :woman_shrugging:t2:

Yes, we have racehorses, besides my retired mare. The farm I was at, there was only one person asked to leave. At one point there were 5 of us riding horse people. Only one negligent owner over the years. Oddly enough she was a racehorse person.

Hmmm… Maybe I’ll sponsor a trophy in my own honor at the APHA World Show and claim I’m being recognized for my speshul talent of going off pattern in my horsemanship classes.

But unlike Nick, I’ll be sure to actually pay for my sponsorship.

And then he says, “You’d think people would be impressed with one’s ability to work with non-warmbloods.” Wow, I had no idea that the mere fact that I take dressage lessons on my Paint makes me impressive! I’ll let my trainer know!

I’m guessing his stack of self-published books is gathering dust in his garage and he feels he needs to promote his ridiculous outrage in order to get more sold.

Nick: There is no dressage professional that says you trained Chevy to a high level. There is no dressage professional that says you ride at a high level. Has Ms. Wise invited you to give a clinic?

You are correct. Those are our signature party dresses. We went out for cocktails that evening.
