Small Brag…I did an Airs above the ground yesterday. All while hacking in the wind with cagey dogs running around.
Actual FEI horse, was he trained to do such things? Nope, somehow it came very naturally to him?

So now I’m talented & famous and you guys are just jealous.

But did you maintain reins of silk during your impromptu Airs?

Lendon doesn’t count because she’s not a man.

“But did you maintain reins of silk during your impromptu Airs”

I don’t possess the skillz necessary for such greatness!

I’m working with a French classical trainer with my pinto pony. Not even a dark full size horse. Those unfair judges!!

BTW, anyone know what Carpathia is doing now?

I don’t know about what is motivating him to act out and make these claims at this point. His latest photos of himself are not those of a healthy man.

Carpathia was sold to a hunter up down beginner; someone who was timid about cantering, if I recall the buyer’s trainer describing the purchaser as, when the trainer sought out Carpathia. The horse is beloved, and the whole family loves her, there may be other horses too. It was a perfect match, as Carpathia, or her former name, Lacey, was a hunter lesson horse for many years prior to Nick buying her. She had a reputation for being a steady eddy and I have no doubt she has continued to be the safe mount in her new home she was prior to Nick getting her, as she came from a lovely hunter lesson program/barn with a trainer known for bringing along kids and kid-safe horses.

If the only people impressed with what you’re doing are people with zero knowledge* of what it is you (think) you’re doing… you aren’t doing what you think you are.

  • your friend/judge of your musical freestyle to the National Anthem at a home, barely schooling show vs An actual Dressage judge at an actual show

Well, maybe if you’re actually high???

He knows. He’s just needy for the attention being a martyr brings, and that can only come from those who don’t know any better. It’s a technique for him that has worked best online where he controls his narrative. People who know him in person are mostly family. Horse people who know him in person usually see his bs in a few weeks or months. The friend who judged his nationalist freestyle is an example. But I suspect even being family means more of a tolerance for him than whole hearted belief.

The mixed messages, from those who know and those who don’t, is the foundation of his nonsense.
But you’re right, his need is the impetus for not learning more/better.

Unlike you, NP got those dressage skillz (remember, eventing dressage scoring is opposite of dressage scoring. 20 = 80% in dressage, 60 = 40%)

An oldie but goodie:

 I had never seen that. So clever and well done.

By the way, that somewhat spotted horse looked vaguely familiar. Was it Chevy?

NP had the same response to his judging. ““Above the bit” what a load of sh*t”.

He got them dressage skillz!

I post this every year before the first event. I even sent it out to all competitors at the venue I’m show secretary for
