The Maestro has written another book

Exactly where my brain went! Some kind of weird sculpture with a bust of the king stuck to it somewhereā€¦akin to the Gump, if you saw Return To Oz.

OMG the latest review, by ā€œEd.ā€

By now I think everyone knows the bad reviews are set up just to hate on Nick. They arenā€™t fooling anyone. Itā€™s online harassment and itā€™s cyber bullying and the chronicles of the horse allows it to happen and continue, even though it is widely known that Nick almost took his own life because of their attacks and lies spread ruining his reputation. Nick talks about these people and their agenda in his book. He even shows secret conversations they have with each other on Facebook about what terrible things theyā€™re going to say or do next.

I think Nick is impressive. Nick rode a draft horse and won a high score award. He trained an ex race horse and sold it schooling upper level dressage. He retrained an Appaloosa and turned him into a Grand Prix school master that also knew airs above the ground like Lipizzaner. He broke in a 10 year old stallion nobody else would touch. He has many good reviews from satisfied customers. All of this is detailed in the book.

Nick has a message about compassion in his book. He speaks out against the blood sport of cyber bullying. He says love is the weapon of the future. He is right! He also gives a strong argument for why section 230 of the communications act needs to be repealed, which this is an issue plaguing our society all over the Internet, and is responsible for the death of thousands of people.

The book is very well written and I recommend this to anyone who works with horses.

One more to add to ā€œThe Many Personalities of Nick Peronaceā€. Hey, maybe that could be a book title. Iā€™d have to cleverly disguise the name, of course.

He wonā€™t because it fuels his image of himself as the Great Fighter Against All Evil. No matter how delusional that image is. I guess it help shim gather what I would call collateral support (as opposed to damage). Other people will pile on his wagon without reading the book or checking him out just because of reviews like that.

That review seems to be written by someone who has a better grasp of English than most things written by Nick.

Are they talking about the horse that was previously an up/down hunter barn lesson horse? Because that line makes it sound like he took one off the track and trained it.

Edit to add: It says that Ed is a verified purchaser.
It is hard to believe that anyone who read the book is willing to say

Even ignoring the spelling errors and poor English, the way the book is written in general makes it difficult to read.

ā€œMany good reviews from satisfied customersā€ is a dead giveaway those are Nickā€™s words. Literally can you think of any other dressage trainer who mentions ā€œgood reviews?ā€

I can mail you a copy.

Lol, that ā€œDraft horseā€ was already going Second level iirc, trained and ridden by two riders, one who is an actual trainer with medals and is a USDF judge.
You know, knowledge sheā€™s demonstrated in the saddle and teaching actual people and training actual horses.

And he received high score in a local series, not USDF, at Training level as the only adult participant I believe.

I would pay money to see that.

Didnā€™t the owner also pull the horse from Nick once she realized he hadnā€™t a clue about what he was doing?

He bragged about his ā€œyear end awardā€ which was nothing more than a participation trophy.

The ā€œverified purchaserā€ is a friend who obliged Nickā€™s request for a review. Nick provided the raw copy, friend cleaned it up and posted.

That was my thought. Some relative or family friend who was told what to write by Nick.

If they arenā€™t written by him, they are at his request.
The language, that betrays they know zero about horses let alone Dressageā€¦ Not to mention the rest of it.

Iā€™m thinking Mick Pantylace.
