Ok, then that he won’t ever apply for reinstatement.
My friend xegeba; I am a people person and I like people and I like to know all kinds of people even you could be interesting. Life is an adventure but that doesn’t mean you close your eyes when you know something is a no-no!
kinda like having dinner with Scott Peterson? He seems like an interesting guyguy.
yikes Sherry…
Last I checked horse owners are usually human and it is illegal to assault a human and certainly criminal to shoot them in the head and then burn the body in a steel furnace.
I am certain that killing even a “horse owner” is a capital offense. Conviction for which should be an automatic ban if the person happens to have been a client who bought horses from said killer; or was hired by same to do the deed.
I do agree that most of these types do not consider a person to whom they have sold horses more than sub-human and a “target”.

uh… Sheila… your Insurance Co. does NOT condone you offing your horse ( if it is insured) . But only because it costs them money. Those who off and those who have to pay those that off ONLY care about the money. Those who send off to slaughter and those that slaughter ONLY care about the money.
What are you trying to say? No one who sends a horse off to slaughter can care that much about the money unless they are living on about $12K per year…the slaughter prices are almost nothing. And if someone sends their old horse off to slaughter vs. calling the vet out to put it down, then you have no business even commenting unless you are a vegan…you eat, what, beef, chicken, pork–they all go off to slaughter…what is the difference with Mr. Ed, other than your own self-delusion…

Who was reinstated???
</div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Nancy Banfield was reinstated last year I believe. She has a working farm in VA. Also note that the Hulick’s still own horses and Marion’s husband is on the grounds of horse shows all the time. I believe he runs a night check business? (correct me if i am mistaken)
if you were all seriously hardcore about this, you’d do proper research and not aim in on one of the MANY successful people involved with the insurance fraud.
if we’re going to compare child molestor’s to PV - it’s like only keeping Michael Jackson away from young boys and not the rest.
Well said, lmlacross.
And, I respect your sincerity, scout33. Mr. Valliere is lucky to count you as a friend.
Try MS Interent Expolorer…it worked for me…
Thanks for the support Julie!

Yes, as I said before, Big Dawg has done a remarkable job of keeping the thread in front of everyone.
I second that.
That might be good advice filly3 if the older women on this board set a better example and didn’t act “rude and mouthed off”. How else is JJ supposed to fit in and be heard? And BTW, I think she is definitely more mature than many “older” people on this board… JMO.
Ping pong balls up the nose, crowbars and alligator clips all
I’ll bet the communal trailer ride to the lot is plush. The paddock is divine. the aroma is soothing. The redcarpet walk is heady. Who needs Dr. K? the whole scenario is dreamy.

Harry, now you’re getting dramatic. I have not read any posts, especially recently, that stated PV should be reinstated. What I read were people defending PV’s right to reapply, SHOULD HE DECIDES to even go there, as well as those who know him challenging the alligations that he’s been breaking rules, nothing more.
surely the thread about the folks (I’ll go look for it to get the names) that are going to work for PV would indicate that a) PV is planning on applying for reinstatement soon and b) the soon-to-be employees are assuming that he will be reinstated - otherwise, under the rules that went in to effect in Dec. '05 these folks would not be able to go to rated shows while working for PV (or am I misreading the rules?)
My last night posts suggest I am against the “movement” so to speak, but indeed I am not, I just feel that it is not likely to get off the ground where it counts. It will need to be funded in some way, and perhaps advertising purchased for full page ads in these publications stating the mission. The support you need has to go beyond the horse world, so be large enough to be effective. I do not believe the professionals of our sport will touch the issue.
Fairview, this is not meant to be inflamatory. But where is it not being enforced? This must all be provable in a court of law. If no one has actual documents, then it would be hear say. Not admissable.
I am in total agreement with that Linus.

Enough said. Thank you so much for caring about horses of the past.
Oh that was cute. One thing about playing alters…one needs to remain consistant his/her postings.

Ah, no harm…
While I understand why people are so interested, Pls understand it is nore of my business either.
I do know that every action that is even considered at the farm is done is with consideration of the rules, and the law.
After 17 years of paying the price, they would never be so stupid as to ruin in with falsified documents.
Very well said indeed TL.
The other point that’s been raised & that I’m curious about is the Standardbred thing someone mentioned earlier. Is it true that the STB racing peeps have it in their rules somewhere that killing a horse for purposes of fraud means an automatic life ban? And does that apply in TB racing as well? Anybody know?
Where I’m trying to go with this is, is USEF the only equestrian sporting body that does not have such a rule??
Boberry, Yes crimes against people. The most vicious crimes-someone guilty of being a pedophile. Snowbird mentioned someone admitting to shooting Helen Brach.
mwe and jn both appear from their posts to have been around the upper level shows at the time the horse-killings occur.
Yet they seem to have completely different opinions about the incidents, and about the desirability of reinstating PV OR ANY OF THE PEOPLE INVOLVED.
So, perhaps we can conclude that: 1) presence at upper level shows; and 2) access to up close and personal information are not what determine one’s views.
Of course, their posts are all just gossip, right? Since the information is from anonymous posters on a bulletin board.
